Is it a gobby show off or is it someone who plays by their own rules

You know what, I don't actually know anymore.

I guess someone who has multiple layers to them...niceness, wants to have fun, intelligent, articulate, funny, can stand up for themselves, non bitchy, understanding.

Problem is, a lot of people lack all these attributes both HMs and the human race in general.

I think it's someone who can remain true to themselves in the House, and not let their emotion get the better of them.

Both could apply i think. Depends on the person. There have been some housemates i have really disliked but would be seen as strong characters.

My idea of strong is someone who doesnt get involved in the bitchiness, is fun and indepenent and doesnt try too hard to be what the viewers want. But people see strength in very different ways.

Someone whose opinion is not formed by the last person they spoke to.

Its like a John Inman convention this year, I wouldn't hold my breath for a strong character.

It's more a dig at those who hide, in the next few weeks people will be voted out cos they have a different opinion to the voters, whilst people who say nowt will be still in with half the show gone, then will suddenly get out thier skimpy swimwear when they smell the money channel 5 are so greedy the vote to save means you can't really get rid of who you want, vote to save only works if everybody is up, they should do that every now and then in midweek to get rid of the boring ones
