Those manic jazz hands, constant twirls and big smiley grins would've done my head in.

Don't get too comfortable. He'll be back.

I cheered and I will be really fed up if he comes back

I thought he might have been OK in the few moments when he was not waving his hands about and shouting "Showbiz!" (like when he was saying goodbye at the bottom of the stairs )

He's 'boot-through-screen' material for me.
The only BB I ever gave up on was the one with that bloody Josie in, but if he came back, Showbiz Si could make it my second.

Whilst the twist was harsh, the outcome was sweet. I don't know how much longer I could have put up with him inexplicably shrieking "Showbiz!". It definitely reached double digits in the first highlights show.

My prediction is that after the first five have been evicted, they'll all be gathered to play the same game again, with one prize being reinstated. I pray it's not Simon.

Yes, but someone that irritating can be interesting to watch winding everyone up. (For a short while anyway). Also, if he's a director of a Production company, he must have to sit still occasionally and use a keyboard, if only to let his jazz hands cool down for a bit! So I'd have liked him to stay long enough to drop the facade and see what he was really like.

I dont know how long it took him to come up with his "Showbiz!" catchphrase, but he obviously had high hopes for it.

I agree. There was no way he would have been all jazz handy constantly. I would have liked to see more of him...but I'm not too worried as I think it's obvious we'll be seeing him back in there soon.

I bet you'd be surprised. He said it about 200 times in, what, 60 minutes while on the show. He'd have stretched it out all season.

Personally, he was WORSE than Louie Spence. Unwatchable for me. Had he stayed, I'd have already turned off.

The fact there are so many youngsters is already making me reach for the remote; I hear there's Celebrity Watching Paint Dry on Channel 4 at the same time.

Maybe his constant bawling of "Showbiz!!!!!" was an early warning that nothing we are about to see in this series has a smidgen of "reality" about it.

If Simon had stayed, he would would most likely have gotten on people's nerves because of his energetic streak. He kept on shouting "showbiz" every now and again which had me cringing. I'm glad he's gone.

Reminded me of that hideous dance teacher guy with the speech impediment. I forget his name.

Oh Addisonian, nobody and I mean NOBODY is as loathesome as Louis Spence. He is one zeleb that makes me feel physically ill. I truly have an allergic reaction to him

I usually like the camp housemates and was a little disappointed to see him go. But after he said 'showbiz' about 500 times in last night's ep I am glad.

He reminds me of Louie Spence without the speech impediment but with 100 times more desperation.

I am absolutely delighted he has gone. He would have ruined this series! I hope this experience has destroyed his self-esteem as the idiot needed a reality check. That "Showbiz" jazz hand routine was beyond irritating - I pity anyone who has to endure him on the outside world. Let's just hope he doesn't return...
