\\*// The Joel Williams Appreciation Thread\\*//
A thread to appreciate all things Joel; I thought he seemed fairly decent (considering his political asperations) and like a nice bloke.
I can actually seeing him going fairly far too. Any... first impressions are good |

... so judging by some of the spoilers it seems Joel is safe from the 1st (or 2nd) eviction

I feel like he's certainly one to watch. I like supporting the random dark horses.
Sadly his current role, apart from baking the odd cake, is to try to keep Aaron happy. Under pressure from the other housemates he has to be up for the idea of something happening, while also not leading him on and making it clear that nothing can ever happen since he's straight. His bonkers entrance VT is still my fave. I tend to forget he's only 19. |

Yes, I think he has potential and I like the fact that he is fairly outspoken given he is only 19.
I think you're right though Meglos, the whole Aaron thing could go the whole Craig/ Anthony route or more likely the Charlie/ Rodrgio route - just arguing endlessly.Still I think he will be one to watch out for! |

Joel and Nick are still my faves overall - good to see they've got a good friendship going on.
Also liking Sarah a fair bit too now... going a bit off Eileen. Hopefully we get to see more of the Joel/ Nick friendship over the next few weeks. |

Joel and Nick are my top 2 aswell. Hopefully Joel keeps having good interactions with most of the house.
Interesting that he commented about Adjoa not liking him. I guess it will be good for him if she is evicted if she's going to be a constant nomination for him in future. Eileen is still one of my faves but I am wary that she's about to lose it and go into full meltdown mode. It was nice of Joel to say he would have to have a very good reason to nominate her, not getting drawn into any kind of group mentality. One thing I'm not keen on is Joel's interest in the twins, or at least one of them. I'm starting to think they really aren't worth it, they've become a couple of moaners. |

It does seem (at the moment) as though the Twins may pick up a fair few noms next week. However they'll probably be some form of twist. Yeah I like the Joel/ Nick convo last night too - the Eileen slight meltdown thing I don't think is going to help her. I imagine the producers want her gone as they can see much more mileage/ arguments if Adjoa stays (I think Sarah is safe now). Still I guess got a couple more shows before the eviction anyway |

I'm actually really liking him. I'm surprised because I wasn't impressed launch night but he's turned out to be an interesting chap.

Good to see he seems to be gaining in popularity...
His odds are shortening: http://www.oddschecker.com/tv/big-brother/winner And looking on the polls (well here. TIBB and BBTellyMix). He seems to be in the top 5/6. To be honest the way things are at the moment it looks like the first load of evictions ( as in previous years) are going to be the women - Jade, The Twins and Harriet (if she carries on) I can see being in trouble. |

Hmmm Joel potentially in the firing line for eviction.
Hopefully the twist saves him. However I don't think he'll get enough votes to evict against the other HMs. So hopefully should be safe regardless |

Shame really but I could see it coming as a few housemates have been talking about him recently.
Ugh like it isn't hard enough to find something to like about Danny, he nominates Joel yet again and calls him fake. I hope BB don't try and pair Joel up with Aaron in some sort of twist, let's not go back to that nonsense again. lol Either way the twist is probably some far-fetched idea to save Jade or keep the drama going. A pity the producers don't trust their own show anymore and can't let it develop naturally at any point. |

Well if he survives this week he will probably be up quite alot because the arsehole crew (Sarah, Danny, Kerion and Harriet) seem to control the house. Shame none of them are up

However it's good that I don't think he[s generated any form of real dislike to be evicted. |

I knew Aaron would start resenting Joel at some point. I'm just glad their relationship has basically gone cold before it happened.
http://bigbrother.channel5.com/day-1...ain-housemates Performing for the cameras (pot kettle black) and presumes he's popular outside (pot kettle black). I don't think it had the intended effect on Nick or Jade though. They are both far too distracted with their own drama and people they are having problems with, I don't think they have time to add Joel to that list when they are both okay with him. |

That's cool and that would actually be a pretty good finishing order - Harriet going next (somehow) and a final consisting of Nick/Sarah/Joel/Eileen/Cristian.
So much for Jade being okay with Joel though. Things got a bit prickly in the bathroom, Jade seemed to be mad about him accusing her of leaving hair in the plughole and when he laughed after Eileen came in the living room after nominating saying her first nom was easy. Two fairly harmless things lets be honest. It feels like Aaron is continuously trying to put Joel under suspicion. Which made it particularly funny, after Aaron questioned Joel's motives going from the twins to Nick, that Aaron was then caught going to Eileen getting info. It was an ironic turn of events. Plus I think Joel was slightly taking the mick with that last comment about having Christmas off. |

I know he has swore blind to be straight and fancy the twins, but I wouldn't be shocked if the Aaron thing happens.
Bless him I hope he "finds himself" in there. |

Not to be a misery but I don't think Joel finding himself should happen with someone who has slept with 200 men.
Aaron clearly has commitment issues. lol |
