I hope Joel stays on Friday. I think the main support for Eileen (I like her!) is on DS but she doesn't have an AT so perhaps it isn't that large.

I hope Joel stays.
Looking at all the polls, it's going to be close. The tellymix poll is 51.5% to Joel and Eileen 48.5%. I've voted for Eileen to go, however I can't help but feel Joel is going to go. SOTS is pro Eileen, plus I could see Joel still getting a negative response to the Aaron thing and I guess it may be seen from the producers POV that his main story (the whole Aaron thing) is done now so is surplus to requirements. Hope it doesn't happen though! |

Every poll is close, some have Joel in front and others have Elleenn... it also depends if people vote. I cant see many people voting so...

Things seem kind of stuck at the moment.
At least the most influential BB poll on the net now has Eileen set to go, but it's only by about 20-30 votes. I doubt the majority of those people will be voting anyway, even less than what usually do, as alot of people seem to feel the same way about both nominees. The betting odds have been stuck at the same for the past 24 hours, with Joel as slight fave to go. A few large bets were placed on Joel as soon as he went up because his odds were very profitable as he looked to be in no danger before being nominated. But since they've come right in, neither odds are very appealing at the moment. They'll probably kick into action on eviction day when punters start second-guessing themselves about which way it is going to go. I definitely feel like Joel has way more to give in the long-run. Eileen's relationships in the house seem particularly limited. |

In a vote to evict I don't think Joel came out of tonight's show brilliantly, unfortunately. But at the same time Eileen and Jade are right; he is becoming a big character in there as well. I think he'll have more to offer but he's going to find it tough to survive tomorrow.

There seems to be a slight swing towards Joel staying when it comes to the polls. Tellymix has a history of being remarkably accurate and the gap between Joel and Eileen keeps growing, with Eileen now at 50-60 votes ahead.
I think the dislike for Simon is much stronger in other places so Joel might be gaining popularity for voicing his opinion. Wasn't it odd how they talked about Joel becoming a big character at the end of the show? Seems a bit strange for the highlights to give him that appreciation only to evict him soon after. However the bookies are still holding onto Joel being the narrow favourite to go. I guess we'll find out if the bookies or polls are more influential. |

It's too close to call.
I hope enough Joel supporters actually picked up the phone to vote Eileen out. (Hoping for the best!) |

Yay well done. I can't believe we managed to dodge that extremely dangerous head-to-head. Shame it was against Eileen.
It's interesting that people were thinking that Joel finding his voice against Simon would do him harm, but it seems to have served him well these past few days. People really hate Simon I guess. lol |

I'm hoping this is the second wind he needs. Time to stop this whole Simon bitterness thing and get back to the funny and witty Joel of old.

His odds to win are shortening once again so hopefully thats a good sign. This new twist annoys me but this season as a whole annoys me

Soooooooo happy he stayed. I think he's gone into his shell a tad since the Aaron thing and since being up, so hopefully he comes back out of his shell again.

I'm glad this eviction went this way mainly because it was annoying how many people were like 'Poor Joel, he doesn't have a chance against Eileen'.
Rylan and everyone on BOTS were at it day after day, the other housemates were clearly acting like he was going. Simon even said that they should put up Joel so Eileen doesn't go. Well that came back to bite them. Hopefully he'll have some more respect and confidence in the house, what he chooses to do with it is up to him. It also means no-one will be so presumptuous when it comes to evictions in future. |

![]() Some of the bitterness on the maid board is hilarious at the minute, a 7 page thread yesterday was just full of constant moaning. |
