Marc and Joel seem pally don't they?
I'm pleased Joel welcomed him back like that. Hopefully Helen will give him a chance and get to know him... I feel Brian will be the one who may not get on so great with Joel. |

Well she only seemed to like his response in the viewers task, she even said "Go Joel" lol
Whats Brian going to do? Have another moan and strop? Brian did say he was impressed by how "mature" Joel was earlier today. Hmmm It's all guess work atm. I'm just intrigued to see the new mix. |

I was surprised that Joel was first to welcome Marc back and they had a lengthy embrace/ hug.
Good to see though; he should be safe for the next week ![]() Also Joel is now a firm 2nd fave with the bookies, behind Marc: http://www.oddschecker.com/tv/big-brother/winner |

Just having another look at the odds this morning and Joel is continuing to shorten and I think if the whole Marc/ Helen thing/ power continues to have a detrimental affect to Marc then Joel could well be favourite to win in the next day or so.

That's interesting. Never thought I'd see Joel that high up. I'm just hoping for a respectable placing in the final as Joel is quite an odd type of person to win this show.
I wasn't looking forward to this bunker twist as it would throw a completely different perspective on the house, but it seems to have had more of a negative effect on others instead of Joel. It says alot about Joel that Marc has been watching the house 24/7 and still trusts Joel. |

I didn't think he'd still be in the house at this stage, I convinced myself he was out against Eileen...
So I'm chuffed whatever happens. A final placing would of course be amazing! |

Yeah he's lucky to still be there after that Eileen eviction, it feels like he's already done well for himself just for surviving that.
I still wonder how close that eviction was. |

I thought he'd be out by now too - mainly down to the flack he seemed to get from people regaurding the Aaron thing. I was also a bit surprised he stayed over Eileen - but I guess in that week she was a prominent person in the house and can go against you in a close VTE.
I think he has a good chance of making the final now (barring any lame twists). Which is somehing I didn't think would happen a couple of weeks ago |

I genuinely believe he knows what he is doing with the Marc situation, they are both quite smart. I think it's a - keep your friends close, your enemies closer situation.
I can't wait for the house to be back to normal now though. |

Joel is doing excellent! I think, people-wise, he is more 'switched on' than Marc is, so he's keeping him close for now.
I think I see him final 2 at this stage.

Never thought I'd see Joel at the top of oddschecker.
Just remove Danny and that would be my choice for top 5 - Joel, Marc, Chloe, Jade and Nick. Nice to see Joel's mum enter the house today. Marc has the approval of Joel's mum it would seem, not something to be taken lightly. Could have been slightly tactical as she knows Marc has alot of power this week and now Marc knows that his liking of Joel hasn't gone unnoticed. This bunker twist hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be but I am counting down the days to a normal house again, whatever that means. |

I'm so pleased his mum went in, you could see he very nearly reacted when she mentioned how proud she was.

Ah that's excellent to see him top of oddschecker
I think Marc had done a lot of damaged this week and I can see Jade and Joel reaping the benefits in terms of popularity! Who'd have thought this after the Aaron incident and being up in the close eviction against Eileen |

Hey guys! Been a fan of Joel from Day 1 and my favourite to win. By the looks of it he could well be the bookies favourite to win soon enough
![]() I do have this horrid feeling though that Joel will be up next week. I think Jack and Danny are turning on him now, and Chloe.......well that remains to be seen (if she stays). It's a shame because he's had a good week this week, especially in regard to his sweet friendship with Nikki. ![]() Unless theres a twist for next week nominations I think Jack, Danny, Sam, and possibly Simon will nominate Joel. I doubt Marc, Nick or Jade would nominate Joel now. But hopefully he'd stay anyway. Objectively speaking he should be in the final three (well I want him to win). |

I encourage everyone here to evict Cristian. He's trying to stir Joel and I fear, since Jack and Joel are close, he may side with the wrong side of the house and become disliked.

I do hope Cristian goes this evening - the gunning for Joel by Team Bore is just irratating and a shame that they have descended to it tbh.

Yeah I'm not really liking Cristian's new attitude. By all means tell it like it is, but don't have a hissy fit just because you are nominated and go on long rants with vague statements that don't make much sense.
He's managing to turn some fanbases against him. Watching a 'fit guy' get evicted against 3 females seems a bit too ridiculous to happen but I have voted for him just to see. I did start to wonder if Joel's mum thanking Marc was such a good thing. It will put pressure on Marc to stay close to Joel and he may start to resent that it was announced infront of the house against his wishes. Marc's someone who likes to be in total control of his game. It also made the rest of the house aware of the bond between Marc and Joel. I wonder if this has suddenly caused Jack and Cristian to suspect Joel of no longer being their friend. It may end up doing more harm than good. But since Joel's become more popular than ever in the last couple of weeks it can't be that bad. Plus Marc still seems to appreciate Joel as a friend so that's good too. |
