Joel's Odds are once more shortening across the board:

I'm kind of scared to post here LOL. I'm a Joel fan but also - primarily ATM - a Jack fan and I don't think he's being well received.

I've no reason not to like them both, Danny and Nick, still.

So Joel has been nommed this week by Jack... should be ok though I can'[t see him going against the other going up. And it might be good for him to hear cheers (which he should get given he is 2nd fave) on friday

Its taken me a while but I am a Joel supporter

I actually like how he put things and the others have no idea what he is talking about and also he is standing on his own and in my eyes winning it. I hope he gets in the top 3 and even wins it

I think he stands a good chance now, especially if Marc doesn't quite make the final I can see Joel kinda reaping the benefit with regards to support.

It's funny; a few weeks ago I thought he was a goner. So I guess just goes to show how wrong you can be

Just seen on BBSpy, Joel is topping the favourite HM poll

And he's topping the betting too - well, jointly with Marc. Can't help feeling it's slightly too early; the anti threads are really starting to appear now.

It's the same threads as last night really, about the nom reaction...

I don't know why I bother going in them, because I know the usual comments always appear.

I enjoyed Joel tonight, he is just being himself.

I'm doing the same. Maybe if we stopped answering back they'd drop off the page.

Not everyone's going to like the same Housemate; it'd be dull if we did. But simple insults without any depth do not help.

I have to admit I did cringe when the clip was loaded onto the website with Joel questioning Jack; I knew exactly the response it was going to get - partly because I thought myself he should have let it lie, even though I can understand his reasoning for not doing so. To be honest, if Jack had nominated him for his singing he'd have no comeback. 'Pitbull in the morning' was a great quote, though.

I knew he wouldn't let it lie, because the nom was BS.

With Joel it seems a lot of people hold the politician/Tory card over him, whenever he does anything negative - it gets used.

That's my favourite anti-comment. 'He's a Tory'. Yes? And? What has that to do with anything which is happening in the House?

He needs to keep treading the line, keep the one liners going and hope he can find a place in the House once Helen and Nikki go. I'm sort of gutted Nikki will be leaving as most of Joel's fun (away from the one liners) seems to be with her.

i think joel did it partly because every time jack is nominated he has said thats a BS reason to nominate me

Possibly. Maybe Joel should have just done a Jack and said 'that's fine but next time have a real reason' iinstead of trying to talk to him about it.

I think Joel was annoyed because he could see that issue coming up again and was hoping it wouldn't be, but I do also think he wanted to test Jack because Jack has never let any nomination reason go in the past.

The Joel-bashing doesn't really have the same effect anymore as it's been the same thing week after week. Yep he's still a Tory, and smug/superior for me just translates as confident and articulate, it always happens to the intelligent housemates no matter what they do.

I'm glad Nick is in there, he's very chilled and is on a similar wavelength to Joel, plus he's not overly paranoid or over-bearing. He can happily join Joel in the middle of the cliques.

Which is funny when you think he probably has the best chance at the moment to make the finals

That's my fear but wasn't Aaron BB12 favourite for quite a while before the final?

Excellent to see him on top at Oddschecker - still close between him and Marc though

I thought Alex was favourite for most of that series and finished 3rd.

Aaron had fairly good odds throughout, but I don't think he was a firm favourite, however I could be wrong as it was a few years ago now

I'm just wanting him to make the final now, if he wins that would be incredible and I'd probably ball my eyes out. But it was such a close call the last time... I'm just chuffed he is in there!

In other news, Aaron has been mentioning Joel in his interviews again. He is calling their relationship "Jaaron" now. He says he used to spend all day with him having conversations about literally everything and he wants to take him out for a coffee and a burger.

I haven't caught the episode yet - sounds like a good one too. Did Joel have a good edit/join in the rebellion?
