He and Nick basically looked on and rescued the food after.

It was a good episode though, Joel got his secret task and got to play "agent".

Thanks. Considering the reaction I kind of wish he joined in the rebellion. He's 19; he shouldn't be thinking about rescuing food. At least there isn't the backlash on the forum like last night.

Just watched the show - I take that all back.

Looking at the forum, it looks like he might be unhappy at comments made about Nikki on her return to the House. I wonder if that will get a highlights airing?

Joel is currently rank outsider for the next eviction with the bookies - even behind Danny and Nick

Hopefully Jack goes!

well, it is betting on who to leave this friday
and he got the biggest odd... 66/1
which mean he is the most unlikely to leave this friday according to the bookies
the same with Danny

I don't think he'll leave; I wouldn't trust that % of bet things - the market had just opened and if that amount of betting happened, his odds to be evicted would have shortened drastically.

Joel seems to be the only HM who's popularlity is actually growing and he's closing in on Marc on every poll going. Hopefully he's peaking at the right time

i think that % is accumulation of betting to leave since the start of series
since who got the most % ( Joel & Harry )
are the only one who have been nominated before

That would probably explain it - he probably got a fair few bets in the Eileen head to head

So, Aisleyne has arrived and lumped him in with Helen... therefore he is on basic rations.

I'm just worried for him in there now, I can see him getting segregated by his "friends" and being dragged further down.

I truly hope Helen is gone Friday and Joel can get his fun side back.

It's certainly not good timing, Helen has her worst show yet and then on tomorrow's show Aisleyne's going to lump Joel in with her.
Was always going to be risky trying to be friends with Helen. The good thing for Joel is that Nikki likes him and Aisleyne's going to respect Nikki's opinion.

The dynamics change so much in that house, it's hard to believe what things were like this time last week, and the week before that.
I hope this time next week we are free of leg-ends, especially Helen.

I really loved AIsleyne back in BB7 and she is my favourite ever HM... however I like Joel and want him to win. So i don't want her coming back in stiring up a load of crap and just being horrible to him because he speaks to Helen.

Hopefully the whole task thing was for dramatic entrance purposes and after speaking with Nikki etc she will calm down a bit and focus more on Helen rather than people who have association with her.

To be honest I wish all the legends would just leave now and we can get on with the BB16 HMs... even if I only like a couple of them

Another Joel fan! Loved him the whole way through. Reasonable, honest, and doesn't care which way the tide goes. His friends are his friends and even if Helen is public enemy number 1, he's still making sure she's ok. Good lad. And he can see through the core four. Joel to win!

I am not sure she "lumped" him in with Helen. She might not have known how many basic ration parcels there were - Joel just happened to be the last one left so she had to give him the basic parcel. I am sure Nikki will put Ais straight as she seems to like him. In any case, once the legends leave it will be back to normal (I hope) and Joel has other friends in there to help him along.

^ it did look like he got whatever was left didn't he, poor sod.

I hate that he is being tarnished because of Helen, people don't seem to realise he is his own person.

I truly hope Helen is gone tomorrow!

I almost what Joel to be evicted tomorrow. He's the only Housemate I can connect to now so if he goes I can switch off. It's a horrible nasty series which started with much promise.

Noooo - don't say that. It will improve once HELLen goes!

I honestly don't think he's coming across badly. Only housemate who is sticking to his guns and not steering away from people he doesn't think are popular with the public. He's also not willing to alienate Helen and Marc because others don't like them.

The "legends" can sod off tomorrow, we can get fun time Joel back.

I hate the way that the clique, for lack of a better term, try to force him to who he should or shouldn't speak to and get on with.
Why aren't they getting more criticism over this? I don't understand why they aren't.

It's not even as if they are about him, so he can't 'remember who his friends are' because the 'friends' in this case will be the first people who will nominate him to get him out of the house.
Danny has never liked him.

Joel is not in their gang, doesn't want to be, and nor should he be made to feel compelled to either as it's a game for individuals.

Not on topic, but from last night's show it feels as though Sam feels that she's being pressurized by this gang nonsense too.

Joel seems to be getting a bit of flak on the forum at the moment, but I don't really know why. Because as far as I can see he's arguably been the most consistent housemate in there. He isn't licking anybody's arse or up their bum, he just gets on with who he happens to get on with the most.
That clique have either bitched about him, lined up as a potential nominee, or even offered veiled threats to him in respect to who he can or can't get on with. No surprise that he's unlikely to be that keen on them.

I think it's also worth pointing out that despite accusations of 'being up the arses' of certain people, it makes absolutely no sense why he would do that with Marc and Helen if when Helen leaves he would be closer to the people who will be an extreme minority in there.
Their problem with him is that he isn't being a good obedient boy and being up their arses instead. I bet they wouldn't complain then.

Sorry for using this silly terminology but it's how they're speaking in there.

I think it should be recognised that Joel seems to get on with the 'legend' hosuemates because they give him the time of day.
He was made to feel uncomfortable for simply getting on with them. That for me is a good enough reason for him to not entertain the people who tried to control him. And as I said Danny has never been keen on him, so why should he get close to Danny when the new people are more friendly with him and appreciate him for who he is?

We have one group of people who insist that he should know his place, and we have another group of people who are telling him to be his own man and make his own decisions.
What's more, Marc even tells other housemates to look to Joel for guidance on how to handle certain things, which suggests that he actually respects him for the qualities he possesses as an individual and who he actually is as a person.

I hope with Helen going, Joel should be able to lose the association with her.

However I can see him being a target for the clique next week - hopefully Jack goes this evening so it will be one less nom

Yeah it's concerning - hope he is ok. If he does go though will be really crap, but his health should come first.

Hopefully it's all just a precaution and he is ok
