I feel sick myself worrying, poor sod.

Really hoping it's not too serious.

If he does have to go though, my interest in this series will just be completely out of the window.

I don't really like any other HM enough to watch another 3 weeks worth of this!

I'm sure he'll be fine

I'm in the same boat.

I don't see any unique characteristics in the others, I've been drawn to Joel since the start.

He'd be a target for the clique anyway. He was a target way back in the first two rounds of nominations back in the first couple of weeks where Danny nominated him twice in a row.
He'd be no more secure than Jade was in there.
In the pecking order of the clique he'd be very low down on the list.

When it comes to his association with Helen that shouldn't be a concern, because people should respect his freedom to talk to whoever he wants. If people see Joel negatively because of that then that will be their issue.

Anyway, I hope he's okay. He's the last person I'd want to have to leave, as any housemate I quite like seems to end up leaving one way or another. It almost feels like I'm a jinx to them. Housemates I don't like are stuck in there and just won't go.

I feel the same. If Joel goes, then I hope Marc goes straight after so that there's nothing to compel me to watch for the next few weeks, and then with the dregs which will be left in there the series can then be conformed as the worst series of BB ever.

As he was told to not use the pool or the bath I presume that whatever it is could be infectious or make other housemates ill?

I hope he's okay, not just from a viewer perspective but mostly for his own sake.

I think I have pretty much giving up on the season anyway, fed up of the legends. I did my part and voted for Jack so cant complain if he stays now. If Joel did leave I would want Christian to win. With Big Brother USA starting as well I might switch to that because LIVE FEEDS Shame this is the first season I stuck with in years but I dont think I can bother with it anymore.

If Joel does have to go, then weirdly or scarily my next possible favourite (atm) is Simon

However Joel is still there and I'm hoping that everything is just precautionary and he is ok and maybe just needs some anti-biotics

What a grim ending it would be having to leave for medical reasons. Shows you can never take anything for granted. Really hope it doesn't happen.

Hmmm he;s not in the video that was just posted of all the HMs on the sofas - hope that just means he's resting etc.

He was in the video listening to the gurus make their speeches; as said on the illness thread he was probably getting his medical test results today.

Now back to hoping that he won't be evicted.

I think he should be ok eviction wise - I know his odds have shortened today, but I think thats more to do with him being more marmite than Danny and Nick.

It'll be between Simon and Jack IMO.

The reaction from the crowd for Joel was far better than I expected! I'm happy about that.

I think he'll be ok tonight! Hopefully!

Double standards towards him on the main forum are too much!!

That was a lovely crowd reaction. Hope he is okay.

Aisleyne just said she felt bad for putting Joel on basic rations so maybe there's hope there considering the former is staying for longer. Especially as they've hugged a couple of times tonight.

Group hug Joel fans!

So happy for him and the reaction. I think Helen going will bring the fun back in there.

It was nice to see Ais saying she was sorry she gave Joel the basic rations

Yes! So happy. Happy ash is giving him a chance as well.

I do feel people will nominate Marc/Harry/Sam mainly next week so hopefully he'll be safe!

Glad he was saved.
Sadly, despite Aisleyne regretting it, Joel's now going to have to suffer on a basic budget. That'll be tough.

Not too bothered that Simon went and not Jack. There were positives and negatives to come with either and this house is too unpredictable to know how the dynamics are going to change.
In the end Jack is closer to Joel than Simon was. But I wonder how paranoid Jack is going to be for the week knowing he was so close to going.

Hmm did Nikki hug Joel when leaving? I don't think she did.

Did they hug then? Considering Nikki said Nick then Danny rather than Nick then Joel I wonder whether she took his comment to her really to heart.
