If there is a less flattering look for males than the ubiquitous 3/4 length pants, I've yet to come across it.

Either go all out for long shorts (to the knees) or full length.

What are your fashion failures?

Ugg boots. Shuffling around outdoors in oversized slippers like old ladies is not a good look for anyone, not even old ladies.

Toe-post sandals, especially when men wear them.

A footballer is still rocking, I mean, pursuing that hairstyle in 2015

Lol. My mid 70s (football) dress-code was sheepskin coat, mid-calf white skinners and monkey boots. Haircut was a feather cut, half-inch on top.
When I see old pics, I realise why my mum was narked when I left the house.

i used to go to a really expensive hairdresser at the time, every visit she`d nag to cut "this piece off" .

i used to wear a trevira suit and i had a feather cut but i`ve got curly hair so it looked more like a deformed lollipop with a few odd ringlets hanging down, when it started to grow out it just looked like a bush.

it went up like one too once when my friend set fire to it.

I wore MC Hammer-style parachute harem pants in the 1990s so I'm not in a position to criticise, but I hate skinny jeans on men - even skinny men with great legs. I just think they're ugly.

Back in the 90's I used to wear a purple hippie/boho skirt with tassels/fringe with tie dyed leggings, tie dyed shirt/blouse thing and DM's. A friend showed me a picture and I was like "what the f*ck am I wearing". I also used to wear patchwork trousers and long hippie style skirts. It was all the rage back then though. I cringe when I see pictures though.
