Is that any of our business?

I don't think he's ever said he's claiming benefit's. From his VT and things I have read I presumed his family were loaded and he's been living off their money.

You should do some research.

People can be genuinely inbetween jobs.. things aren't always clear cut.

Considering he is only 19 it's a bit harsh to say "all his life." Plus he has had jobs in the past and his family are wealthy so i doubt he has ever "sponged off the benefit system"

I do hope so. I love the self righteous anger.

Taxpayers can be so annoying when they get on their high horse. Do they realise benefits aren't actually illegal?

His family are posh and rich i would guess. And VERY obliging and non-judgemental. If i had told my dad i wanted to stay in bed all day and not bother to look for work when i was 19 he would have kicked me out in a nano second.

If he is a workshy sponger, I'd have to ask myself, "Is he a good BB housemate?", just the same as I'd ask of someone who does 2 jobs to pay for their sick, grey haired old mother's medical bills, while doing charity work for blind kittens in their spare time.
I made no judgements about Helen, last year. Well not until she opened her nasty, vicious mouth anyway.

Helen worked very hard for her money

I'm sure she earned every penny.

I reckon it's an all right life, quite fancy it myself. Have you seen the property and banquets the Royals get of us taxpayers?!!

And that Eugenie's had something like eight (non-working) holidays in two months.

I'm not sure how they manage it but I reckon distant relative Cameron gets his old pal (and inheritance tax avoider) Osbourne to fiddle the figures (quite some job seeing as Queenie owns somewhere between a sixth and a third of the entire planet!).

The Royals more than pay for themselves when you consider how much of the money the tourism sector makes because of them.

Exactly. At the Edinburgh Festival last year, all I could hear from the thousands of foreign tourists was, "Where's the queen? If she doesn't turn up, I'm leaving".

By that yardstick Jeremy Kyle guests must be paying for themselves.

Think about how many tourists flock to England if they see our toothless wonders.

It's alright for you, I was caught in the stampede to leave at Heathrow when all the outraged tourists learned the Queen was lazing around in bed eating a foie gras buttie

You can't claim out of work benefits if you have savings or capital of over £16,000

Even if he doesn't, i doubt he has any need for Jobseekers Allowance

He might be being kept by his parents. His parents might be giving him a weekly allowance.

He'll most likely be wanting the experience if his family are loaded and they're keeping him.

I don't blame him. It's always nice to have a bit of pocket money.

Tourists don't actually meet them though. They just look at the buildings they live in from behind a fence. Surely it would attract more tourism to kick them out and let people have a look inside these places.

Not just a money issue either. Why should someone be born into such inherent privilege when I have to go to work everyday?

They do. My mother was in Buckingham Palace about two years ago when it was open to tourists. I think the parents should give him a job where they work if they own the business.

Nice of them to let people look around! I suppose it was all free too, seeing as we pay for the whole lot? And how were Balmoral, Windsor, Knensington Palace, Clarence House and the other few hundred properties? Bet they were nice and she had a nice cucumber sandwich on the house (rather than at £4.99 or whatever)
