Okay that all went way to weird for me. Can someone explain that last segment.

Also - what as the bit about Anita/Mia taking Sophie outside in Ep 1?
Why/how are Voss's eyes not the green synth thing?

And Ewwww Neil Maskell and the synth at the end - yeuch.

I enjoyed the finale but it was a tiny bit of a let down, bit anti-climatic for some reason I can't quite my finger on.

I thought we were going to find out how David died? Do we know who killed him?

It was all a bit incoherent at the end - everyone just drifted off like at the end of a party.

Anti-climax for me too.

None of the mysteries we saw in the flashbacks were properly cleared up.

So Niska took code and gave Laura useless phone? Or did she copy and has one and Laure has another?

Oh I didn't understand that bit either. So they didn't give Katherine Parkinson the code? Why pretend she is then?

You're a bit late to the party with that one. No one is interested.

Such promise shown in the first few episodes and this is how it ended. Utter rubbish ending. Seems like the writer walked out of the programme half way.

Anita was the main interest. Bringing the others in ruined it. Leo was rubbish. There were too many synths to care for them as a viewer. They should have kept Anita as the main synth.

Laura was useless as an actor and character. Her Tom brother killed guilt story was laughable. No one cared.

The family in the end was too plain. Just ordinary.

How they ruined a good story. This will go down in the books on how not to End a series 1.

Some might say it was incoherent all the way through and a total mess....if only me .........sorry but considering the strengths of the source material I found that all a bit of a steaming pile of doggy doo and a shame.

It was a pale imitation of the original. Far too much soap opera stuff with the family and too much psudo science with the coding.

The best thing about his is Gemma as Anita/ Mia.

William Hurt was wasted and should have been used much better.

At first Karen was sabotaging the code because she still wanted to stop them, then Mia persuaded her not to and so she helped instead. That meant they got the code, which saved Max but did not save Fred.

Also - what as the bit about Anita/Mia taking Sophie outside in Ep 1?

Maybe they don't think Anita taking Sophie outside needs any more explanation? I think it was just Mia pushing through Anita's code, and the rain reminded her of Leo drowning so she thought she had to take Sophie to keep her safe, then at some point on the walk she came to her senses and brought her back. Really I think it was just a plot device to let us know that Anita/Mia was complicated and to make Laura suspicious of Anita.

I assume Voss's eyes are brown either because Elster specifically made them to be brown so she would look like Beatrice, or because she got contacts like Niska in order to blend in as a human.

And Ewwww Neil Maskell and the synth at the end - yeuch.
Why Ewww? I thought it was sweet.

I thought we were going to find out how David died? Do we know who killed him?
Nope, maybe that's for series 2, or maybe we were all way over-thinking it and he really did kill himself as they said all along.

So Niska took code and gave Laura useless phone? Or did she copy and has one and Laure has another?
Oh I didn't understand that bit either. So they didn't give Katherine Parkinson the code? Why pretend she is then?
I assumed that both flash drives had the code.

I assumed she'd made two copies, but you could be right and she's given Laura an empty drive.

Keeping the family plain and ordinary probably helped hook in the non-sci-fi viewers. I've been a bit iffy on the mother, but felt she came in to her own in the last couple of episodes.

Beatrice and Leo scenes very good IMO. Humans could do with broadening its scope slightly in the second series. There is very little in the way of sociological content, the focus is solely on the family and the free synths.

Anita was taking Sophie out to get her made into a cyborg. We seen at the end Sophie talking like a synth and cleaning the house, so that was her conversion complete.

Yeah that felt hurried and unconvincing.
Karen seemed very determined and in logic mode.... then Mia just babbled on sentimentally and stroked the tree.... and Karen changed her mind.
Hmmm.
