Irrational I know, but why doesn't Mattie wander round the house barefoot like every teenage girl I know?

My teenage daughter has big fluffy slippers. I've always hated slippers so walk around the house barefoot.

Because the series is set in an alternate reality

When I was Mattie's age I always wore something on my feet. The house was too cold not to!

Cold feet don't bother me. In fact if I need to nip outside quickly I'll do that in bare feet too - even in winter Everyone knows not to get me slippers for Christmas

Perhaps they developed sythns earlier in their reality because they all went around in bare feet for longer than we did in ours?

Surely you are mistaken, Pi is too irrational to be a synth...

Surely a sign that Mattie is a Synth.

28-day consolidated ratings (including 4Seven) for the first five episodes:

Ep 1 (8th June): 6.8m
Ep 2 (15th june): 6.01m
Ep 3 (22nd June): 5.2m
Ep 4 (29th June): 5.5m
Ep 5 (6th July): 5.3m

There are only 7-day ratings available at present for the later episodes, but they're all comparable to the 7-day ratings for the first five episodes so it looks like the whole series could well be over 5m.

It's a long time since Channel 4 had ratings that good for a drama series. Hopefully it might mean more genre shows in future.

Really enjoyed this show. Between this, Utopia and Black Mirror Channel 4 really excels. Shame Channel 4 cannot put more focus on content like this and not waste time on benefit style programs.

I have heard rumours that E4 are making a comedy drama shortly about aliens. Anyone know anything?

I think leo died while downing in a car this mother crashed. I reckon Niska will build an army of synths for her own purposes.

I wonder what the delay was for series 2. Especially as series 1 premiered in June and here are in April and filming has only started or close to starting.

I'm very happy that Will Tudor tweeted a link which appears to confirm that Odi will appear in Series 2 Let's hope the other synths can manage to rescue him before he gets scrapped, and he gets a full upgrade - poor malfunctioning Odi was so endearing (well played, Will Tudor! )

It could be because Gemma Chan was appearing in a stage production of 'The Homecoming'.

It looks like Humans might be back before Christmas, as Channel 4 are re-showing series 1 on Friday nights in the small hours. No trailers yet though, so I would think we will not see it until all series 1 gets replayed, maybe ten weeks ?

They had to wait for Gemma Chan, sci-fi rule: 101, all series need an uber babe.

There was an advert in the Metro paper yesterday in the same style as last years, it was a product recall style ad warning of faulty synths.

Sort of like those Beko fridges that spontaneously catch fire product recalls, except your faulty supermodel synth may swipe your family.

Saw the advert last night, very clever. Its basically a Synth recall advert, saying if they become malfunctioning and show any sort of self recognition or emotion, to take them back in immediately, and not to try and fix them at home as it will void the warrantee.

Looking forward to seeing where they go with series 2.

Yes but typical Channel 4, trying to be too cool by half. For those who missed the first series, that trailer is not going to get new viewers. No mention of the show.
