The first episode's 28 day consolidated rating is 3.9m, with another 138k over the last four weeks on All4, for a total of just over 4m. That's around 1m down on the last few episodes of the last series.

Loved the first series. Stopped watching the second series after episode two.

Further on the Mia/Anita reprogramming herself bit, I feel it is my duty to point out that what we saw on that smartphone screen looked an awful lot like it was finding something specific in the memory, something about doing a scan of the memory if a couple of files were not found and something about a sleep state for a period of time, plus or minus it being not completely legible due to not having this in HD where everyone would be picking away at it and I wouldn't have to hide behind 'something about', or is there a thread somewhere that shows I totally misread it all

It does look like someone made sure that this wasn't just some 'hello world' program like you see in a lot of shows/films where they have this 'some computery stuff on the screen' thing so the definitely get points for that!

"Bugs" was notorious for that, mocked up graphics which bore no resemblance to a real PC whatsoever.

But as long as it also involved having to make do with a bent coat-hanger and a nine-volt battery it often didn't matter - or at least not too much - though there were some cringeworthy ones as was very much the norm in tv-land back then.

I bought the DVD as I liked it so much.

It's a shame it only lasted one series.

I agree with the other FM we could do with a scifi series in between Dr Who showings, but NOT another Dr Who spin off.

If they are still pulliing in 3.9 million consolidated viewing figures for episodes 4 and 5, then maybe renewal is possible, but I doubt it.

I really hope it's renewed, easily one of the best shows on TV at the moment.
