It may have been a lovely moment in that girl's life. And it may also be something he's using to ingratiate himself to the public.

There are the first tears in the Big Brother 2015 house tonight and they come from a rather unlikely source.
Demolition hardman Danny Wisker breaks down during the group’s first task.
The ice breaker challenge sees the housemates split into boys and girls teams. They must correctly guess which facts read out by Big Brother are about which of their fellow housemates.
In one part of the task, the girls are asked which Housemate posed as a groom for the day to fulfil a terminally ill girl’s last wish.
They correctly guess Danny who then breaks down in tears as he recounts the story prompting sympathy from the girls.
Danny is also the focus of potentially BBUK’s quickest ever romance tonight with Jade-Martina Lynch telling Big Brother that Danny and Sarah Greenwood like each other, predicting they could end up in a relationship after just one day.
“I think they are flirting and into each other, but it is in the early stages, if she stays in it could all go off between them I think it could be a crazy love affair,” she says.
Meanwhile, there come more tears from Harriet Jackson who comes to the Diary Room and begins to cry in front of Big Brother as she says how she feels “I am just a bit overwhelmed.”
Big Brother airs tonight at 10PM on Channel 5.

On tonight's showing I don't think I have seen such a self obsessed, arrogant knob as Danny, for a long time.
What an unpleasant individual.
I thought Cristian would be a pain, but Danny really takes the prize.
They both behave like teenagers who only think through their trousers...for heavens sake grow up lads.

When I see Danny hunched over indoors with a hood on and giant sunglasses muttering to Sarah about some other innocuous HM being a "fake" it tells me all I need to know about his character and motives. Stuff your sob stories you treacherous PR*CK.

Exactly it was a job that he was employed to do.
One of the comments on the Daily Mail article speculates whether the hired man (Danny) is a reality TV actor, and if he's done it as a stunt.

give the guy a break already its a gameshow he helped someone the vicious
criticism is not deserved he showed he's human and its only 2 days in to the show I can see this guy getting stick for the pettiest of reasons damned if he does something good damned if he does not do something good why so much bitterness it not warranted I say good on him for at least having a heart to help someone!
