First Eviction Not Until The End Of Week 2?!
Master Ozzy
15-05-2015
Looks like this is the case and I really hope so. I've always been a fan of no evictions until two weeks in like they did in the very early years. It's allows us to get to know the housemates a little and it allows the huge characters on launch night to settle down a bit and gives them a chance to avoid being nominated as the others realise they were just suffering from launch night excitement! I just hope this twist tonight isn't something ridiculous, but it blatantly will be.

Agreed - you wonder how many characters from previous series could have blossomed given an extra week or two to settle in. Opening week evictions are like ordering Tikka Masala without even checking the menu first.

I don't really count that as an eviction. The public didn't vote Simon out. Plus, it's so obvious he'll be back as part of the timebomb theme.

I like it that the first proper eviction will be next week, I think it's enough time to get to know them. I take it nominations will happen Sunday afternoon?

It was still an eviction though, next week Emma will no doubt say "the SECOND person to be evicted from the Big Brother house is..."

But yeah I get your point, as we didn't really get to know Simon at all it's no loss. But had someone gone tonight, say, then we'd kinda know them a little. So I'm glad too that everyone gets until next weekend to settle in.

I'm glad there is no eviction tonight and although we had a launch night eviction, that wasnt as a result of a vote but of a twist so the public still have not been asked to vote anyone out and wont be until next week, gives us more time to get to know them before we have to decide.
