iPad Air on iOS 8.3 won't download apps

It did for two days but now won't. I touch "get" and it looks busy, asks for my password which I give, the. It looks busy again and the. Just goes back to how it started without having downloaded anything.

Any ideas?

If anyone has any answers please talk I simple words as if I were and idiot as I am not very savvy with tech

Most problems can be resolved by rebooting the device. Hold down the Home and Power buttons together until the apple logo appears on screen.

Alternatively restore from the backup you made to your computer or iCloud. You have backed it up haven't you.?

Sounds like the App Store app is force quitting back to the desktop. This is usually a result of insufficient resources - memory, storage etc.

What I do, in addition to a restart, is double click the home button to bring up the app switcher, then drag or flick everything up and away. You can't clear the desktop obviously, so when everything has been cleared, try the App Store again.

Yes, it's a good idea to check how much space you have available, via the Settings icon and the About tab. If this reports something seriously low, then you may have too much stuff on your iPad.
