Yep. Turn down a car worth £27,000 when you know you're the favourite to win £150,000.

No brainer really.

Ridiculous twist. Not even worthy of the word twist. Completely pointless.

Silly pointless twist

Like they would choose to leave after two days. Pointless twist.

Doesn't look old enough to drive and probably couldn't afford to run a car like that anyway. The police would be stopping him every 5 minutes.

Exactly, what a completely stupid and pointless twist....."would you like £27,000 now or wait to collect £150,000 in under 3 months?" *rolleyes*

The thing is everything can change within 24 hours in there.
He might be loved today but in 12 weeks time with 14 other people in there who all want to win £150K ... it's by no means a given he'll win.
I'd run away laughing with a brand new car for a weeks worth of sitting on my backside

Nothing to say he will win the £150'000 at all though, peoples opinions on HMs can change within minutes on BB. Not only that but what if someone else gets a similar offer later on in the show and take it? he'll be left with nothing then.

It was a crap twist really.

I mean even though BB isn't what it used to be. I think a possible 10 weeks in the BB house will provide better memories than a car that will only last a few years.

Going on what we've seen so far .. that's very debatable

Nonsense, never has there been a more obvious winner than good ol' Jack

Id have walked off with the car. But i guess this way means he has definitely won BB now.

Excellent twist, I hope the producers are clapping wildly and thumping each other wholeheartedly on the back for such a well thought out idea....

A crap twist and a crap car which can be obtained for a lot less than 27k.

People will have all but forgotten this car stunt even happened in 12 weeks time.
An example of this is Helen winning last year .. miserable caustic bitch for the entire show, good edit in the last couple of days .. ta da! winner.

I wish they had said if you take the car you stay in the house but the money goes down by the value of the car, or halved, or gone altogether!

Not totally pointless. I think they guessed he'd turn it down. He's there till the final anyway. They all know he's the most popular now, he saved the prizemoney and he still has 3 immunities. Total bollocks.

Completely agree about it being pointless.
As well as being told he's the winner he's likely to earn more than £20k after the show with mag interviews, "celeb" guest appearances, etc. the longer he stays in.

Now what would have been interesting is having the person with the least votes being offered the car + reduction in winners fee.

Go and you get the car, stay and you might win a few fans and extend your stay beyond a week..
