The comments on the FB page are ridiculous to be honest. Obviously it's good that he wasn't that selfish, but anyone would have done the same. They're acting like he saved 100 children from an orphanage. SO selfless, giving up a car you can't even drive....

Do you think he is regretting turning down a £27,000 car or is he worried someone else will be offered a similar choice and take it........

Yep he's terrified someone else gets the same offer and makes off with his 150 grand .

Anyone else will be sorely tempted now that they all think Jack has already won it .

although now that I think about it - when was the last time the early fave won? Pete in BB7? And prior to that, I can't think of any examples either (for regular BB).

Even BOTS are now saying that he may have peaked too soon and will have to show more of his personality if he is going to actually win. Early favourites don't usually win and someone else could overtake him later.
Exactly.

The consensus seemed to be that Jack could well struggle to maintain his popularity from here: hardly the mouthpiece for the Jack To Win campaign that it was billed to be on here.

Anyone who's watched this show before knows that Jack's position is untenable. If you're on top this early and all your rivals know about it there's only way you can go. But I don't feel sorry for him because BB offered him a generous way out !

Worse than that...

I can't see any of the others nomming him now
They wont because they wont want to be seen as going against the public, in a way this has been one of the worst cases of outside information.....

It's too early, basically people like him because he appears to be a 'normal' down to earth lad with no airs and graces. Also the fact he hasn't had much luck with women will be endearing to people. But apart from the fact he has an ordinary job, a gambling problem and no sex life we don't know a thing about him. I noticed on launch night he ran to the green time bomb shouting 'I'm having green' without discussing the matter with anyone else. No one else got a look in for that colour. Also he was very narky and offhand after his task tonight. I think the cracks will start appearing very soon...

I just don't get his popularity tbh, there's nothing about him that I find interesting.

He's dealing with an addiction, does that not count? I personally find that interesting and would like to hear more about it.

I think he's the early favourite simply because he's been the least offensive to this point. It could all quickly change.

I agree...despite so much promise to this series compared to the last, this was the worst outcome imaginable.

Add to that BB's 'vote for your winner' lie and again not knowing what the outcome will be until the results are already in

Nadia didn't become the fave until week 4 though. In fact her odds were like 50/1 to win the first week. I think Michelle was the fave? Or Dan.

She championed Jack & Joe for reasons best known only to her to as well.
I'm guessing she loves the ones the producers tell her to.
