The whole timebomb tasks are a complete set up. They only tell us there will be a timebomb going off and we are voting for it. But, they never actually tell us what is going to happen. They clearly have several scenarios tailored to all the housemates, so they can give the result for whichever housemate is chosen. They knew full well that offering a car in place of walking out and losing the rest the chance of 150k wasn't going to persuade anyone to walk off with a free car. The whole timebomb thing last night was a huge disappointment.

Jack has peaked way too early, going off other BB's, things change, people change, opinions change.

Such a long way to go, Jacks alright but for me he hasn't done alot on the highlight shows, and yes he had a good first night and was on last night but for me theirs other contestants in their that have done more than him at this stage!. I am still getting over Helen winning last years BB!, I never expected that so it shows that anything can happen!

BiB: This is what is troubling me about last night ...

BB offered the Car to Jack for his place in the house, at first no mention of removing the 150K if he took up the offer.
When Jack started to waver and at one point looked as if he was seriously considering the car, this is when BB added if you walk away with the car the prize money of 150K will go down to ZERO.

Of course this was a no brainer for Jack, as his actions would have affect the rest of the house, he had to do the "honourable" thing.

I agree with the other posters Jack has now reached Sainthood status by BB's contrived manipulation.

Don't get me wrong, I like Jack, compared to the other HMs he seems the most normal. BUT, the way BB is promoting Jack I'm refusing to toe the BB line .....
Jack will not be my winner & the first chance I get (if ever) I will be voting him out just to spite BB.

Sadly, I agree with you.

I like Jack; he seems like a decent enough guy, but he does have the air of the special one about him.

It's beginning to feel like BB7 all over again & this series looks like it's going to be one long coronation!

I don't think it's set up on this occasion. The BB audience have been waiting for someone like Jack, truly ordinary Jack, for ages and we tend to love the down to earth types because they are more like us. However, I would like to see people give a reason other than 'he's a normal bloke' to justify their support of him. Surely there has to be more to it for our winner.

Good comeback on that post Captain. My first laugh on this forum of the series. Thanks.

Oh cynical me

BB have created someone who everyone, producers and housemates think is perfectly safe if put up for eviction.

If pie face goes up against housemate x , housemate x is going home .

I think it will backfire because pie face must feel that he will at least be in the final and he has already dropped his guard last night with his "diva" outburst.

If he annoys anyone in the house he will be nominated constantly - when the housemates have outside information it does play with their heads.

Fascinating viewing

Nadia was not an early fave! At one point she was 200/1 to win.

Indeed, BB have put Jack in the most favourable position to win now. Like you, I won't be voting for Jack to win. He was favourite before the show even started, they shouldn't try and dictate who we should vote the winner.
