He obviously can't calculate the odds otherwise he would have walked away with that car.......It is a game show and he didn't know the other contestants last week so doesn't owe them any favours.

Emotional gambling.... put HMs ahead of cold, hard logic.

He fancies winning the £150k. And why wouldn't he? He's just won a popularity vote.

If he had made a decision based purely on the odds, he would still have stayed.

He has been on Deal or No Deal. I have no idea how much money he won on that.

Does anyone else know?

No he wouldn't. As things stand his odds of winning are currently at 7% - and more hms are likely to arrive so that 7% will worsen. So you've got a 7% chance of winning 150k or a 100% chance of winning 27k...

if you think the 7% chance is better I've got some snake oil you might be interested in

He's very confident of winning....BB did just tell them about the poll too.
Why walk away with a car, when you can buy 5 of them if you win?
Someone who is very sure of winning.....

If he was a gambler who knew anything he would have calculated the odds and walked away with that car,,,,It was his best shot at getting anything. And popularity means nothing when the producers start manipulating stuff....Remember Miss Popularity herself winning last year?!

To pretend that everyone in there has the same chance to win is daft

I read 7K.

I hope he doesn't win, would be a travesty.

and to pretend that someone's chance of winning doesn't fluctuate throughout the show .... yep, daft.

Thanks.

It was quite a while ago he was on it so he's more than likely spent it all by now.

I don't particularly want him to win either but I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if he does.

Don't forget jacks had a gambling problem. Sorry if already mentioned. I just think it's dawning on him, the enormity of what he's just turned down. It might explain the anger afterwards...

He just didn't have the nuts to do what he knew in his of hearts he should have.
Now when he ultimately doesn't win after hanging around for 12 weeks it's going to haunt him for years to come.

"Allright Pieface .. gis a lift into town in your brand new BMW .. Hahahaaha"

Played its part, the main reason was the car just wasnt enough.

if it was 50k cash he would have left 100% imo.

Crikey! Really? I never knew this
I think we better not let him win, just to be on the safe side. Imagine if we were responsible for making him fall off the wagon with so much money and so much temptation in his hands

He mentioned he gambled and that it's best he gets away from it (said by him in a rather self deprecating way). I'm not sure that means he has a gambling problem.

I think it was referred to as an issue worthy of calling a problem... He said he didn't want to talk about it, it seemed
that way to me anyway... You may be right, i may have read it wrong when I watched a few nights ago.. It was definitely something that's going to haunt him, especially at his next Plymouth Argyle match!!!

Nah, he was saying something bad about himself as a way of bonding with new people. I got it, but it seems some people here have blown it out of proportion. You know, if he really had a serious problem, he probably wouldn't admit it.

Sad thing is........

He was put in a spur of the moment position. Would there really be no prize fund if he took the car ??????

No Brainer, No prizefund = No contestants + No show = repeats of Friends for the next 16 weeks

Is it greed or misplaced loyalties. Big Brother worked out the odds in their favour.

It will be interesting to see if a similar offer is made again or maybe if time is reversed he will be asked a second time.

This is the beauty of this series - we don't know what is going to happen.

Well done big brother.
