I seriously love that guy! I have NO idea why he has no friends because I'd wanna be his best friend! I mean, he's funny, interesting, unique and smart. I love his social awkwardness. I really hope he wins or at least gets into the final.

Probably not. Mainly because Nick actually seems genuinely awkward and not playing a character because he thinks it will advance him.

Oh my, it's many a long year since I've agonised for a HM but that was painful to watch, the poor boy was visibly horrified and shaking. He's been my favourite from the start but I did have my doubts that he may have created a persona ( reading his twitter he does have some friends, one of whom was in the crowd to support him at the launch ) but tonight it was obvious he's not been putting on an act - he's a genuinely nice, caring person with some self-doubts about his place in the world. He's funny too.

Gawd I was hoping I'd hate them all so I didn't have to watch any more.

(Btw reading his twitter he was a big Dexter fan, although personally I can't see any resemblance beyond the pinky/red jacket. )

i like Nick too, comes across as smart guy with a unique personality and he does not seem to be acting up like most of the wannabes we have seen in the past.

He is playing a bit of a character - Christopher from last year tweeted about how he'd been chatting to Nick before the show to give him advice on how to play it.

He does at least seem like a nicer person than Dexter though.

I genuinely felt for him last night and he is very sweet
