Well having nothing to offer in the entertainment department didn"t stop Sam Evans winning.

Jack can be as dull as he likes from now on...the guy will coast to victory on being "normal and lovely"...thats all he needs.

With Sam's year we had live feed though, so we got to see more of him than what we were seeing in the HL's show. If Jack is boring in the HL's, he will have nothing else to rely on to help him win.

TBF Sam did naff all on live feed too.

Even his ex HM's as they were interviewed said all Sam ever did was sleep and not help around the house....and the guy still won...mainly because of the BOTS hype over him.

Sam was an active housemate on live feed, I remember his chats with Gina. which would explain why he asked her if she wanted to be his girlfriend to which she said no to as she had a boyfriend at that time on the show.

He never behaved badly, so never made the edit.

Early front runners don't tend to win.
Their popularity fades after a few weeks and the quieter HM's come to the fore.
I'd be very surprised indeed if Jack went on to win it.
Even with the best edits and endless championing on BOTS Jack & Joe Eggy didn't win and he's only half of them.

Wolfy said he was quite rude and he made an offensive remark to a female guest to the house...and he was foul to Dexter towards the end when he thought Dexter might take some of the money he clearly felt belonged to him.

Not everything about Sam's bad side was shown.

Sam was dull and never featured on the HL's shows till the final 2 weeks.

Pete, Luke A, Nadia, and Sam.

Favourites from day 1 and went on to win...sadly on all counts.

In the final viewers often vote for the lesser of 2 evils. Jack could get there courtesy of his immunity passes - and the help of the BB production crew.

I voted for Sam to win as it was the only way to stop slimey Dexter and horrible Gina winning.

But Jack has this in the bag now, after turning down that car, he will be the only one to win. But last year people moaned about Helen winning just coz she ran her own business, now moaning coz a lad from McDonalds will win.

They do like to build 'em up and knock 'em down. Just didn't expect them to start so early.

Nick was favoured tonight, he will be put down next week, probably

They'll all get a favourable edit and then kicked out till the real chosen one(s) emerge.

Called Dexter out after what he said after the magic trick about him and his fake crap with Charlie in the final week more like, others were foul towards Dexter as well after the money task Sam for example.

Did the female guest tell him to **** off?.

4 out of 14.
Odds are still firmly in the favour of anyone else.

I remember seeing Nadia at 40/1, I was hovering over her name debating on a bet but sadly decided not to.

Anfaneeeee was up there at the beginning with max then drifted out and in again.

Nadia was the rank outsider at the start of BB5. A few punters made a tidy profit, getting in early while her odds were high.

I think the significance of his chats with Gina has been greatly exaggerated. Sam wasn't asleep on the live feed, but he wasn't all that active either. People only seemed to think much of it when Gina was involved.

I didn't mind Sam winning, given who he was up against in the final, but I don't think that even on the live feed he seemed someone who ought to win.

I have no idea if the female guest had a go at him as BB were protecting him and didn't show it...but Wolfy told us what he said.

Sam had no standout winning moments in his year.

Nadia was certainly BB's favourite from day one...they were bigging up the Nadia lifestory from the start....Nadia was soon the bookies fav.

Who on earth moaned about Helen winning because she ran her own business?

I can remember many who (rightly, imo) disliked her winning, but no one who disliked it because of that.

Perhaps, but neither Nadia nor Luke A were the favourites with viewers at the start. I don't remember whether Sam was or not.

But Helen had a pass to the final and won.
John Loughton has a pass to the final in Hijack BB and won.

Jack has something almost as good with his immunities from the launch night twist; and now that the HMs know he's the most popular, most are unlikely to nominate him anyway. So he may as well have a pass to the final too.

All he has to do is to avoid accumulating too many negatives along the way and he'll have a very good chance of winning. Quite a few winners have been "least worst" options in the final.

Veri, I dont think the least worst should win, the HM who did the most in the show in regards of standout moments should win, without the nastiness of course.

Dexter or Gina should have won in Sam's year, not the least worst non entity in Sam.
