I dont blame her either. He is a thicko. Its one thing to make spelling mistakes, and another to make a complete pigs ear of something so relatively easy as CANOE.

My favourite part of the episode, made a right nob of himself.

I was thinking that but then I wondered if she'd clocked that being thick was a game plan and she was pondering his chances of winning

She looked mortified with embarrassment to know him or to be linked with him at that point

I don't mind if somebody can't spell, but what got me was his reaction.
He was acting all angry about it saying "Who's going to know how to spell Canoe? This is bullshit!!!"
As though the word 'canoe' itself was a cruel trick BB had played on him.
According to Danny it's not him being unable to spell the word which is a problem, it's that BB were at fault.

So what will you think when she's still looking interested this week which she will be particularly after finding out he's popular with the public. Like I alluded to, there's more ways than one to make money

I don't like her but I'm finding Sarah quite funny, hope she isn't up for eviction next week, but it's likely.

No wonder. It's not exactly an obscure word.

What grown man has to spell words out by saying, "Cuh, Uh, Nn, Nn...."?

Seriously?

Not only could he not spell the word, he was unable to identify letters.

I found the simple arithmetic questions to be just that simple arithmetic and yet h/m were unable to answer them correctly.

This countries education system is failing badly.

Now god knows I'm not his greatest fan but I felt a bit sorry for him, it must have been humiliating.

Sarah positively recoiled at his ignorance

It's not easy being a puffed up self-obsessed ego-centric idiot and then being brought down to earth by a simple spelling test.

'Canoe' is a word you don't write often though. I think it would have thrown quite a few people, especially under pressure.

No, no it wouldn't - or at least it shouldn't. You don't have to have often written a word to know how to spell it. If you read; you know how to spell it - or you should. How can people even be considering that it might be understandable not to be able to spell such a simple word?

I agree with the earlier poster who said that even if he is dyslexic; why react so defensively? Why suggest that it's a difficult word? It really isn't.
