Do you consider 1.26m viewers acceptable ratings for an eviction show?
Last nights overnight ratings were 1.26m excluding C5 +1
Seems a bit low this early in the run to me.

It was around 1.4m with +1 which was on par with BB13 first eviction and 400k up on last year and let's not forget last night it was not an actual eviction. So just for a live show with no eviction, its not bad
In fact last night was higher than I think every Friday show last year. |

Nope, but C5 didn't promote this series at all. So many people online seemed to not even know it was back.
It's been good so far too, but they only have themselves to blame. |

Fridays did quite badly last year. I'm sure a few got less viewers than earlier in the week.

They're acceptable to me! The show had a 100% audience share in my house.
Whether they're acceptable to Channel 5 is another matter. I rather suspect they're quite happy with that - seems par for the course for a show that's been running as long as it has and considering the average for the channel in that timeslot. |

It wasn't an eviction show, though.
It was a twist show. It was a "see what results from an inadequately explained app vote" show. BB does sometimes evict a HM without a proper public vote -- bb15 did that, and the current series did it too on launch night -- but it doesn't have the same sort of build-up as a proper, "Who goes? You decide", phone-vote eviction.

I didn't think on the night rating really mattered all that much any more. Channel 5 have plus one plus 24 and at least I think they also repeat the previous nights show during the day not forgetting online where I can imagine is how a lot of people watch now days.

They're overnights - not the actual offical ratings following timeshift.
