Pieface aka Jack is a nice enough bloke by the looks of it, but in real life most, if not all of the others would not give him the time of day.

As a bit of a (now aging) nerd myself, I remember well how the Good looking kids stuck together, rarely, if ever acknowledging mine or my fellow nerds existences.

For the good looking people in the house to treat Pieface like he's their mate simply does not come across as genuine to me. Imagine Jack approaching the twins or Jade in a Nightclub and offering to buy them a drink? They would tell him to f**K RIGHT off and look at him like something they have just stood in, probably.

Just my opinion of course, based on bitter experience. Young people tend to stick with their own kind, particularly the cool kids. Older housemates may be different of course, but most of them are early - mid 20s. I doubt they would welcome a pleasant but undoubtedly nerdy Maccies worker with open arms as a mate in the real world!

But this isn't real life. It's Big Brother and a bunch of desperadoes are competing for a big pile of dosh and what they do and say will be geared towards winning. They are all going to connive and manipulate to get what they want

I disagree. That's a stereotype that appearance is what makes people friends. In my group of friends there were people who are stereotypically seen as model types (both male and female) and people who look stereotypically nerdy (both male and female). You'd be surprised how much it's not true in everyday life. It may be a school thing but in college and uni life, everyone was friends.

The good looking/outsider divide is very rare in the real world and quite rare in BB too. Remember when Andrew came in BB11 and people online believed John James, JJ and the other girl newbies wouldn't get on with him? Just because he was not as good looking? And were feeling sorry for Andrew as soon as he entered? They all became friends.

Aren't they all playing a game? Does it really matter what goes on in the house in comparison to what might have happened had they met on the outside? They all knew these facts before going in... Perhaps they all learn lessons about their behaviour, and leave house better able to get on with everyone?

It matters when people are claiming HMs are genuine and there's evidence that they're not.

And some "games" are more acceptable than others.

Well I think Pieface should take full advantage of his new-found popularity and try and get a shag! He's never had a better chance!
