If he is, he's clearly deeply insecure about it and desperately trying to cover it up. He puts across this masculine image re: having to share the bed with Nick, his exaggerated speaking voice.. I always think that people who are truly comfortable with their sexuality wouldn't care about that kind of thing, nor what others might say about it. He made an issue out of nothing. Some of his mannerisms come across as kind of effeminate when he's got his guard down, so it's clear he's not as naturally macho as he likes to come across

Everything else about him seems to be an attempt to mask something he's deeply insecure about. His physical apperance, body, trying to balance a music career with a medical career. A form of compensation perhaps.

Finally, the bizarre breaking down into tears yesterday and 'they don't get me' outburst also struck me as slightly strange. For a guy who seemingly has it all, what's he so sensitive and insecure about?

Of course, it doesn't matter one way or another. It's just what I've picked up on over the last few days.

I was wondering the same in all honesty but I suppose there could be many different reasons why. There is clearly something bothering him and maybe it'll be clearer in time.

I don't usually tend to throw loose accusations regarding a person's sexuality, but I have noticed certain, little things surrounding Cristian. I found the initial interaction between him and Joel to be a bit telling. Joel asked Cristian if you could fall in love with someone in the space of 2 months within the house. An innocent question, but as I noticed chemistry between them, I couldn't help but to interpret it differently as a somewhat 'offering' Cristian seemed to pay more interests to the males as opposed to the females on launch night and I based that down to a young lad just sizing up his competition... These were just observations which could mean anything, but as for mannerisms, I wouldn't say he is camp, but the fake accent of his will diminish as each day progresses...

And I really am not liking this series whatsoever. I am giving it another week and if it hasn't improved, then I fail to see why I would dedicate another 7-8 weeks of the show!

Nope not gay. I think it's wishful thinking from some viewers.. However I do think he is homophobic. I think his tears were because he thought the group were talking about him but it is hard to tell when you just get the highlights.

I wish he would be a 'closeted' housemate, that could be a task that BB should think about

Dare I say it, but the first 2-3 weeks of BB15 was miles ahead of this series... I wouldn't be so sure that BB15 will go down as the worst series in BB history...

Maybe there is stuff that people don't know about why he's insecure. From his website, he lost hearing in his left ear when he was 3 and ended up attended four primary schools. I imagine a few people would have spoken about the partially deaf kid, maybe even bullied him because of it, so it possibly wasn't the nicest thing in his eyes to have somebody to call him over to announce a group of people he barely knows are all talking about him and do it in such a snidey and mean way?

We never know everything about people in BB.

On Channel 4, yes, Channel 5 would work just like Hollywood. A good-looking male wouldn't be revealed as being gay as it could tarnish the female demograpghic who are inputting the majority of revenue....The show is too edited to really tell who are being themselves and who isn't...

I wouldn't be at all surprised but he is a bit camp, no problem there but the ladishness could be a cover.
