Seems like something of a moot point in an example that also involved him deliberately crushing the other housemates beneath his wheels...

He can't drive and if he could the insurance would cost thousands .Selling the car would have been the way to go .
Jack came out the DR to a heroes welcome but when the next "timebomb" was announce the penny dropped that others may get the same opportunity to cut and run with the money or indeed a car , he soon realised he had made a huge error and his anger was there for all to see, I loved it!!! I also agree that his chances of winning are slim...no pun intended

Less than slim. I'll put a gentleman's bet on now that he won't win. There's nowhere for his character to go... Big Brother is 'reality' yes, but it's also a manufactured narrative and that's what engages people. Jack's story has nowhere to progress to, there's no journey. His best shot was 'zero-to-hero' and he's already done that now in the first four days... It's all backslide for our rosey-cheeked pork-pie now I'm afraid. A few more scenes of him coming out the toilet to regale us with charming tales of how he had to use a bog-brush to dispose of his load and his fan-base will start dropping like the proverbial flies that presumably hang around his latrine.

Should have taken the car Jack. Should have taken the car.

If the car is not offered to another housemate and taken and Jack does not win I think they would still give him the car at the end.

I just hope that they don't do both.

Or they could pull a Bullseye on him and show him the car "Here's what ya could've won" and then take it away

They'd still stay in the house. Many of them hope to forge some sort of z-list career, particularly the women, who can pose in the lads mags or maybe get a column in one of the trashy papers.

There certainly used to be more than 150k to be made by the big personalities in the house. I wouldn't be surprised if that scene has waned a little since, but there's still no doubt money to be made, not to mention the fame and attention they all desperately crave.

C5 effectively killed off the BB HM's moments in the spotlight by starting CBB the following week.
BB HM's ?! .. meh who cares there's people we've heard on in there now

Super smashing great

On Friday night someone suggested that the only reason Nick had to do his face to face noms live was because they had a fill a gap that would have taken up by Ma Willis interviewing Jack if he had taken the car

That makes sense they will have had to have a few minutes for Jack lined up if he took it.
What a shambles

The whole point of the time theme is to give the producers unlimited options when steering the show on their chosen course.

Think 'Back to the Future'

As we are primed to accept truth as lies and lies as truth (nothing is as it seems) from previous shows, had Pieface accepted the car - against producer's instructions/wishes - they could easily use time to both affect the present, future AND past.

"Chosen one (possibly Sarah) - you have the chance to change your destiny - however, you cannot change the future without changing the past."

And so Sarah accepting a reversal of her eviction for a place in the final will result in a rip in the space/time continuum.

"Congratulations Sarah - you are a finalist! If you are watching, Pieface, put the carrot down and expect a knock any minute..."

Security turn up at Pieface's house and tow his BMW away amidst many tears. Of course, Pieface his back hander just like Mr Showbiz did on the opening night.

It's just a convoluted version of last year's travesty.

Risky? They offered a car to someone who can't drive.

Should of tempted him with £27,000 worth of chocolate, then fatty would of had a real dilemma on his hands.

So I do think it only became a "no brainer" when the choice would have made him the most unpopular selfish HM ever. It really was a no brainer. But the fact that he can now seem self-sacrificing and therefore boost his stock is a bonus, and he's certainly milked it.”

Did you notice he LOUDLY aired his concerns amongst the group about others being given the chance of a hit&run? It was like he was trying to make their minds up for them. His head was like a big hat wearing ball of beetroot that was ready to explode at the thought of anyone taking what he'd just turned down. Selfish, greedy, greedy boy. I really hope he walks away from this show with ZILCH!

Just re watching the footage and I think Big Brother didnt mean he would get the money as well I think he was only meant to get the car. But anyways that was still a big risk
