I remember when studying law seemed like a reliable benchmark of intellect and education. Clearly not anymore if her and, is it Adjoa? are anything to go by.

Citing Katie Hopkins as some kind of role model should tell us all we need to know. It's populism for unthinking dolts; holding opinions for the purpose of self-aggrandisement rather than sincere conviction (or even interest). It's ironically the sort of attitude rife among the uneducated, tabloid-reading, Jeremy Kyle-watching commoners Sarah also purports to hate.”
This. Completely.
It's populist ignorance, untroubled by the facts and fuelled by our propagandist press and UKIP. Facts like how much immigrants contribute to the economy vs taking from it (eg they put in 37% more than they take out vs Brits taking out 20% more than they put in so the net gain from migrants is greater than from Brits). Or how many Brits are migrants in other countries. Or indeed how many migrants make up our population (I.e. it's less than many other European countries, US and Australia).
