The plan they had MTV Channel for some feed sounded perfect along with a more original sounding Series. Why it changed and they brought back the same failed format from last year is anyone's Guess.
Unhappy is correct time after time its been confirmed Money isn't the issue the entire subject has become such a muddled mess its worthy of a politician If im being brutally honest.

I don't think its out of order saying the relationship broke down totally when they saw the BB Spy article (which was harsh but made perfectly valid comments on the direction and structure of the UK format)

If they had live feed I would watch, without it there is nothing for me.

Most seem to prefer the online live feed tho as opposed to the tv live feed, because if there are boring bits they can leave it on in the background and get on with other stuff, you can't do that with the tv, you're either on one channel or another. The only reason that Channel 5 or Endemol won't do live feed is because they can't manipulate it quite so much with live feed in place.”

That's still only a few people though, not enough to make a significant difference to ratings - I'm aware there'd be more but I can only really see it increasing viewers by the thousands which will barely make any different to the overall rating at all. Plus they may say they would watch it again, but presumably they haven't watched it since the C4 days which is quite a few years ago now and I find it hard to believe that so many people would be able to easily place it back into their lives after going without it for so long, especially when if you're watching it with live feed I imagine it does take up lots of your schedule. And no I don't know any people irl who say that they would watch again if it had live feed, in fact I hardly know any people who watch it at all nowadays.

The one that Channel 5 did not like to look at.

Is everyone forgetting already that they had online live feed in Secrets & Lies? Nobody watched it, so it got shut down.

It's easy to moan about how Channel 5 are just braindead and haven't thought of these things. When actually they have. They trialled it, and it just wasn't a value proposition.

The online live feed had a quite a good amount of viewers according to Ben Frow, Then there was a incident that showed the production team up. So he axed it because of it showing up the highlight show not viewers.

What incident would that be?

again its something that's been lost in all this farce.
5* failed totally. Online worked Ben Frow was more than happy and agreed it was working online "doing its job and would remain".

Its also worth pointing out when they have provided a feed the numbers have been good. late night it failed totally on 5* because of the time slot up against all the top soaps it didn't stand a chance.

The feed should be there as an Added extra not within some limited time slot something again Endemol should be making the case for not the people who care for the show and its future.

Honestly the move online not once has it been mentioned as a failure even as late as January this year the talk was putting feed on MTV Channel then it just died

It really does take the mick when I find the stuff about the LF farce more interesting than most of the programme itself...but it's been like this for a while now.

Bib - having viewers for your TV shows as a TV channel isn't a 'value proposition'?

Just looked at it and I'd already seen it when it came out - it just states the blooming obvious! I don't think it's harsh at all (apart from the quotes from the producer of another version).

How can they blame/punish/hang the viewers by their own knickers over that???

They had the perfect opportunity this year with the timebomb - make it back to what it was (back to basics or whatever you want to call it). They've made some moves in the right direction imo but as far as I can see they're blowing it, because in other ways they've made it even worse

It kept me amused for a view minutes, Hyper.

The point is that it doesn't have to be elaborate or expensive to be watchable.

I think the point of live feed is for it to be twenty-four hours a day, not for one staged and scripted hour.

The problem is the audience they want are generally not that interested in live feed.

The audience they have chased away generally do

I dont remember that being 24/7 live feed?

Without constant live feed there is no programme to watch. some of us original fans never watched the HL show, so once LF went the programme died for us.
