TRONFY MXIV Amlogic S812
New Android tv box from Tinydeal TRONFY MXIV Amlogic S812 with Gigabit Ethernet
This new Box has an AML S812 CPU, the only Main difference to the S802 is Multi-format 4K2K, H.264 and H.265 UHD hardware Decoder. Same as S802 but adding H.265/HEVC video decoding up to 4K and Gigabit Ethernet. This makes it more future proof than S802, and it could potentially be used as a media center with a USB hard drive and Gigabit Ethernet connection. No its not an advertisement. Im a tv box addict & this is a new tv box that's just came out the specks on it look very good for the price, there are some sellers in the uk but there much more expensive the only thing with buying from china is waiting for it to arrive its a waiting game now..
The Gigabit Ethernet is what is pulling me towards it most tv box's don't have this |

Iv read a 1GB file takes less than 15 seconds to transfer across a gigabit network, compared to more than 2.5 minutes on a Fast Ethernet network,I think its just the geek in me thats pulling me to it, ok it may not be a big time saver or make much difference but its an extra thing to have on a tv box & its more or less the same price for a none gigabit tv box. |

That's a nice box actually. Quad core and 2gb of ram will absolutely fly.
I've got this one .. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Xsbox-S805-A.../dp/B00OPX3XQ6 .. and it's one of the best bits of kit i've bought in ages. If i had the money, i'd certainly be keen on upgrading to this though. |
