I have a Doro 0607 phone and want to transfer some photos from there to my iPad via Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connection has been made but any attempt to transfer any image results in failure with the message 'unfinished' appearing on the phone.Any ideas how to solve the problem?

you could send them via mms but that might cost a bit. Try connecting Doro to a pc by bluetooth and loading to pc first?

Hi Tom

Welcome. 2nd post I see!

Could I suggest a far easier way?
Perhaps a free Dropbox / Googledrive / Onedrive app on both devices?
Just a thought!

While devons idea is usually a great method, you won't get any apps on the doro 607.

Apple don't like you sending things to their devices over Bluetooth, I'm pretty sure that's why it's not working.

Only options are to send it on Bluetooth to another device, if you have one, say, an android - then email it over to the iPad.

If you don't own another device, I'm sure you can connect your doro to a pc and transfer it there, but can't vouch for that as I've never tried it.

Worst comes to worst , open the photo on your phone, and take a photo of it using the iPad camera ! Not great quality, but if all else fails!

I have looked at DORO 607 manual. Phone is too basic for anything other than MMS or bluetooth transfer. As InfamousTeal says above problems is probably with iphone (a friend of mine has problemns transferring stuff via bluetooth from another phone).

So only realistic option is to try transferring to a non apple tablet/phone/PC first.
MMS as a last resort.

To be honest DORO phone resolution is only 0.3 MP which is very low resolution these days. They won't look that good on a modern phone anyway (in full screen size).

Thank you all for the replies.I connected to my laptop via a cable and it was simples. You are right, the screen resolution of the 0607 is poor but I reverted back to this most basic of phones because I got fed up with the iPhone, constantly pinging, etc.I went back to making and receiving calls and life is good.

Interesting, manual does not mention connecting to pc via cable.
you should be able to turn off sounds of notifications etc.

Even an iPhone can be used for just calls - no 'pinging' required!
