I fancy so-and-so conversations are fine. Rows are fine. Getting on with each other is fine. What is not fine is if all this stuff doesn't come from the Housemates. This series strikes me as being much less manipulated, and that's why I'm enjoying that.
Having said that, I had no problem with the secret task involving Eileen. Producer involvement can work, provided that it's a short-term thing, it's not happening every day and it just brings it a little bit of entertainment rather than creating a whole storyline, which isn't what we want.
The point of Big Brother is that we watch and observe a group of people whose environment is controlled in a small setting, but whose conversations and relationships are completely down to them. Take away that and you don't have a programme.
