Enough of the parties BB!!!

What's the deal with BB? The HMs seem to be getting rewards every night!
It's party after party.... I understand producers are hoping HMs will get drunk and there'll be some drama but I think BB needs to get stricter on them.
Give them rice & beans that'll really test them (plus the tasks are now designed for HMs to win which also sucks).

Do you welcome the parties every night or do you think BB should stop rewarding them for doing very little!?

I think the reason for it is there was a lot of negativity last year and they're trying to avoid it happening again.

If there's too much of a negative atmosphere then the show will be accused of being draining to watch. The producers are going for a positive vibe this time round.

I see the OP's point though.

I re-watched a bit of Series 1 recently, and Big Brother threw a party for Nichola's birthday. The Housemates were really excited to prepare for it. These days, that wouldn't happen, because parties happen so frequently that they aren't special. Treats should be treats.

I also saw them all chewing away at haribo star mix over the past few days, they really do have an easy time of it.
I love when HMs get drunk and when BB throws a party for them but if they pass a mission I really wish BB would treat the individual.
Eg. Eileen passed her mission tonight - BB could've given her her own special reward which would cause tension in the house and it would add another dimension to peoples characters.

I miss when secret tasks remained secret and they got food and stuff in the diary room

The negativity last year was created by BB (and the mix of HMs).

In recent previous years they've had treat after treat.

Previously they didn't have so many treats and got along much better.

It's a production issue imo.

A whole party for her silly task was just ridiculous.

I agree treats parties are far to often, FGS they have only been in a few days, make them earn them.
Fags and Tabacco used to cause grief, on the shopping budget between smokers and non smokers, now I think they go in the diary room for more when needed.

They're just softening them up a bit.

And a lot of the treats are probably sponsored stuff which they need to keep the show going.

They never used to meddle in the early stages anyway.
