I don't get this so called popularity for Jack!. Let's be honest is he just the favourite because of his size?, and because of the fact he doesn't drink and has never had s*x?.

Other than the opening night and Friday night he hasn't done alot!.

Thoughts?, what are your thoughts on Jack? is he the winner already? or is he going to fall away as the show goes on!

He's the nations sweetheart (as Aaron said) for sure but I can't understand why. I find him quite boring. It seems BB has done a huge turn around from its humble beginnings in that the 'normal' ones are now the exception and we reward them for being normal and we dislike those who are priviledged regardless of how entertaining they are. I sort of 'get' that but it doesn't make for great tv.

He is my least favourite at the moment, i just cant see why he is the favourite at all?

I would like to know how his 3 immunity passes work. Do they wait for him to be announced as one of the 3 or more HMs that are up for eviction & then he can decide to use a pass? .... If so, then what? Do they just have 2 people up or will he be replaced by the next HM in line?

There hasn`t been just 2 people up for a long time, so it seems that 3 is the minimum now, if he gets replaced by another HM, isn`t that going to affect his decision to use the passes?

This isn't a personal attack on Jack as I don't know him, but………….
I'm not a fan, I am a reasonable judge of character (in real life) I'm not convinced that he is as nice as they think he is. He seems to want to promote his "Pie Face" persona. He also mentioned that he has a manager who looks after this for him. Personally, I think he's hiding the fact that he is fame hungry by presenting this geeky misfit image. He has the girls liking him and saying that he is cute, but not one would actually go out with him.
Having said all this, BB is a popularity competition and you go on the show to win a big cash prize and a media career. So I'm not having a go at Jack, he's just playing the game. I don't think he is winner material though.

I think people are way too competitive when it comes to BB and they get mad and frustrated when their fave isn't given the same love as another housemate. The bookies fave gets it and eventually the forum starts to divide and the forum fave gets it aswell. (Watch out Nick if you're still the forum fave in a few weeks time, you might even be the bookies fave aswell the way things are going. Dun dun dun!!)

I'm sure I'll fall into the trap of attacking the competition but I'm not really feeling it yet due to not minding Jack and it only being week 1 going on 2.

He's not going to be any fun at all now, he made a rash decision on the car and is regretting it. I believe (but don't know) even if he would have taken the car and left, somehow BB would have brought prize money back in the form of a task maybe a difficult endurance one where the whole team had to work together

I wouldn't like to be inside his head if someone else wins that nice £27k BMW

If Nick does become the bookies favourite, which looks likely in a day or two, it will be after over a week in the house. All Jack had to do was have his launch night vt about being called Pieface played, walk up the stairs and he was virtually annointed as this year's winner.

I dunno...they hold your car up nicely.

Look at the colour of pieface's face. He is so flushed most of the time he must be sweltering in there with all that extra weight on his bones. Pieface is suffering and i'm gonna throw a vote or two his way because of it.

Someone's got to be favourite to win following the launch, it means he made the best first impression.
If Nick becomes fave he'll receive some of the same resentment and his actions will be under the microscope in the same way.

Just think, the shiny new beemer would have had lovely lovely cool air conditioning, perfect for cooling one's pie face while on the way to the shops to buy some pies. Nevermind though he took the decision for the team and I'm convinced whoever wins if it's not Jack will give him a huge slice of the £150k.

I only wish he'd taken the car and gone, I don't think I'll able to stand watching the fat, red lump being feted as the new idol, the off button will be my only refuge, surely reality can only be suspended so far?

I was just about to start a thread saying the exact same . I really don't understand the big deal (no pun intended ) and also thought is it because of his size and the 'I just wanna cuppa' comment on entering. Then of course he got his woe me story out there pdq too re: his gambling. Not forgetting his love for a certain football team so that he would obviously have to stand behind a certain colour podium on launch nights timebomb.

So yep he ticked a few boxes and became the fav straight off nicely pushed along by BBOTS and Emma too. I have the same opinion on Harriet. I actually didn't know who she was when her name was called on Friday ... probably as all I heard from her was 'I'm just an ordinary lass/girl ' whatever way she phrased it ... nope not falling for than line either.

There is certainly some good game players in this bunch ... let's see how consistent they are as the days pass.

I think he's popular because he's overweight and looks about 16. The UK loves an "underdog" and id say he's seen as that because of these things.

Liking the underdog is both a nice thing and a stupid thing all at once thats my view.

You should really just take every one on face value and thats it.

I find it suspicious that he doesn't drink,for some reason I don't believe him and didn't straight off the bat but that's just me.
