I recall that if you change your first name ever-so-slightly a long with a different email address (Gmail for instance lets you add a + to your email after which you can put anything and it will still get through to you), they'll send out a new SIM card.

Yes, but I - and others - have submitted forms and never been given the email to say it's on its way (and never got the card) so there must be some other checks.
Or else the EE system is just broken and sometimes fails, despite saying it has received the submission. Which wouldn't surprise me. |

Is there a time limit to activate these sim cards after they arrive to get the free data? Also I am still using the previous 200GB sim at the moment and ordered the new sim card using same email and same name address etc, does that mean I wont get the 200GB summer data?

When filling out the form my auto fill for my email address didn't fully work avd I only noticed once I pressed send. So thinking that it wouldn't work with an incomplete email I did it again.
To my surprise I returned home this afternoon to find two sims in the letterbox.... Result

I got a SIM today despite no acceptance email or text. That means I'll probably get a few more soon. Oops!

I have found that there is no limit (despite what they say about 14 days).
As for actually receiving another SIM -keep us informed ! Next one is sitting and waiting... I ordered 3 more last night, one for me and one for each of my flatmates, lets see if those arrive. |

Will this work using a previous 100GB Sim from the last deal they did 2 months ago?
I ask as I still have £10 credit to be used on my 100GB SIM and wonder if I can cheekily use that credit to buy this pack rather than the standard pack I'm supposed to get. |

I don't think it will work as the old sim will no longer be a promotional sim.

Hi, just a quick question with the Summer SIM. Is it possble to text 'STOP PACK' then top-up a minimum of £15, send the SUMMER text message and then order the £15 Everything Pack? (Whilst retaining 200GB offer?)

It's a shame EE don't do £5 packs. It's either £1 or £10+.
I did the same thing as posted before, text stop pack to 150 then confirmed with the yes text. Then I topped up with a £10 voucher from a shop, text summer100 to 150 and got the free data. So now, I can use the £1 25 mins/50 text 7 day pack with my £10 credit, it will last for the whole 2 months which is nice. Not sure what EE get out of this really, they might get some quick money in terms of the £10 top ups but the data usage for that £10 is most likely going to be massive compared to their contract customers who are paying at least triple that. And if the network can cope with all this data usage, why not offer packs of even 50GB for £20, one quarter of the data (remember it's 200GB over 2 months for £10) for double the price and it's still a good deal. |

The last couple I've ordered via Top Cash Back have resulted in 2 confirmed payments of £5.25 for new SIM I topped up for the first time, so a £10 one time use SIM cost me less than £5

I have two of these SIMs. The first is up and running and I did make an online account and use a credit card to top it up - I didn't have to talk to customer services though, was able to do it using the 50MB get me started data with the SIM in an Osprey - which can also handily do the text message side of things.
My second SIM has no online account. I used the top up card that came with it to put the £10 on. It really was 1/ send STOP PACK to 150 2/ reply YES 3/ top up £10 with the topup card 4/ send 100GB to 150 5/ remove SIM as soon as the confirmation came back That SIM is now waiting unused. I'm hoping the 100GB months haven't even started, but it is a bit of a punt. I can't check it without risking starting the data & I can't rely on it - but at the start of August I'll pop it in and see what happens, and with luck I'll have 100GB to use in September for free.

Have just ordered another sim today. I used the same email address as before but a different name. Hoepfully will work. Want to order another sim after this for someone else but won't be activating until after end august. Will this work?

Has anybody taken delivery of one of these sim's recently?. I've been trying to get one of these for 3 weeks, i've tried different names at addresses in different towns, with different email addresses completed from different computers with different ISP's but no luck.
Non of the addresses have been used for a similar EE promotion either. |

Got a call from EE about this SIM asking about the 100GB data.
I told them I wouldn't have considered EE otherwise so maybe this might add to the growing number of people who want more data from EE? |

I have got one from the day after this latest promotion started, but the 14 day time frame for topping up has expired, I know some have said that it still works but I thought I would try and get another one, closer to the promotion end date as I didn't want to waste a tenner topping up the expired one, to find that all I get is 1GB!.
I've not even had a confirmation email from any of my latest attempts, spread over the last few weeks, and they are all genuine email addresses, either ISP or Domain linked and never used for any EE contact or promotion previously. Maybe the next few days will bring a delivery. |
