I got a second SIM for the wife. Ordered two days ago and she got confirmation yesterday so I expect it to be on the doormat when I get home.

The two postcodes I used are in different places...one in London and the other in deepest Essex..

Haven't had any error messages, and I ordered the first one when this thread was one page long..

Shame really, perhaps I'll revert to buying one off ebay.....NOT

I can order another one for you at a different address and send it on to you if you have no joy.

(and, no, I don't have unlimited email addresses and postal addresses to offer that to everyone!).

Just ordered another using my sister'as name, her postcode in England, her phone number and an email address that has never gone near Dan, Phil or EE.

SQUAT.

There must be something up with your browser or something then, and it's not submitting your requests properly. Are you using a VPN or something that makes it look like you're outside the UK - or anything like that?

As the OP ordered a 'rake' of them, maybe the sysadmins were asked to block the IP or ignore requests from that IP.

Nope. Just using my iPad.

I'm not the OP and I've already answered the bit about the rake of them. I only ordered more when the first one failed to materialise after a week. It was ordered from Gatwick airport.

All orders were accepted, the only ones rejected were those where I used an email address already used for an earlier order.

The SIMs have been ordered from home, various wifi locations and also while connected to 3 or 4 G.

The same method was used for multiple Dan and Phil SIMs last year.

It seems very odd.

Mind you, I've come home and the second SIM didn't arrive so maybe mine wasn't sent either.

Strange......the email address I used when I first asked last week has just received a confirmation email to say my sim is on it's way..

Hopefully I'll get it Saturday morning

The first 30 day period / 100gb allowance begins to count down from the time you activate it - i.e you text the relevant message to 150 after the £10 has been added. (You also get the original 1GB of data which adding £10 gave you)

So whether you activate it now, or on the 1st June, you still get 30 days worth of allowance, regardless of whether it is at the start of the new month or the end of this one.

Provided you add the £10 credit and activate the first 100GB within the given 14 day period, you get the first lot of data to use over a 30 day period - its not pro-rata based on the Calandar date.

Update:

Two hours after my last post I have received email confirmation regarding two of the SIMs which are apparently on their way. These were ordered some time ago.

Now from none, there's six in the way. But not a single one in my own name.

are there any advantages to ordering more than one?

I see the idea of ordering two, you could activate and use one immediately and then delay ordering the second one until the end of May, then wait as close to the 14 day activation period as you dare before adding the credit and activating. This will give you a few weeks - month extra data to use once the first (earlier) sim has expired it's second and final month. This is what I intend to do myself.

Of course you will need to top up both sims with £10, but how much data will £10 get you on any other network?, even for the few weeks of additional use, the second sim is worth it.

You may also use more than 100GB in a month - exhausting the allowance before the 30 day period is up, in which case you can switch to additional sim(s) to cover the run on usage. I don't use anywhere close to 100GB a month, even having no access to ADSL, but I can see the attraction for those who do.

quite right, my three plan with tethering ends June 8th, no adsl is so slow. I have ordered EE sim, I will activate it June 8th. I may get another and activate that on last day of promotion, which I think June 18th, so 10 more days extra data

For me, one in an iPad, one in a Mifi and one in a spare iPhone

Out of interest, has anyone tried changing the pack to a cheaper one, like the £1 one, before topping up and requesting the 100GB?

Does it have to be the £10 pack by default?

this deal ends June 18th..

I have ordered a sim now, activated it.. this will run until august 2nd

could I then order a second sim June 18th, wait 13 days to top it up and then in theory have a sim that ends august 31st?

In theory yes, although you would be sailing close to the wind with the activation, as i'm not clear on whether the sim has to be activated 14 days from the date of ordering or the date of receipt. Personally i'd be paying it safe and activating it around Day 12, otherwise if you miss the activation cut off date, you may end up paying a tenner for 1GB and a few calls and texts
