Ok....to get the 100GB of data I need to text 100GB to 150 after topping up £10

So how do I do that from a IPAD

EE wouldn't renew my contract i had with them (£37 a month, 10gb data with 1000 minutes and texts), insisting i had to go for a £40+ contract which would match it. Tight wads, so i went to o2 and now have 5gb with unlimited calls and texts for £30 a month.

Which is plenty for me, i don't tend to watch/stream/download stuff without Wifi anyway. Only browse Twitter and a quick surf or two on the net, last month (taking off the tethering i did), i only used 3.6gb data.

Do it in a phone first, then put the SIM in the iPad.

Put it in a phone, send the text, put it back into the iPad....

The SIMs are multisize - you just just push out the size you need. If you've not pushed the nanoSIM out already, don't - push the microSIM out first, set it up in the phone, then make it smaller once it is done. Else the fit is tight enough you should be able to put the nanoSIM back into the microSIM surround to temporarily put it in the phone.

No need for damn....as you can read above each SIM is three-in-one, mini, micro and nano.

Pendantic of me, but actually four in one, including the original credit-card full-size SIM just in case someone wants to put it in a Motorola mr20 or similar!

Oh....it just gets better and better....this SIM refuses to log onto their network. Great.

Do you have to pay another £10 to get the second month of 100gb?

Thing is I snapped out the nano sim for my iPad...

Think I have some sim adapters some where to get it into my phone

Just activated one sim for my spare phone and one for my lad. I was having great difficulty topping and and had to resort to phoning 150 where I had to speak (horror) to a customer rep. Why was the EE website so difficult to negotiate on a LG G3, Lumia 830 and Galaxy Tab 3 8"? Still it's done now and we have just got LTE where I live so time to blast that 100GB.

One of my SIMs simply won't work and the other, when I attempted to top it up having been invited to so do by EE using an unregistered card, then rejected my attempts because the card was unregistered.

Sigh again.

I had no problem topping mine up, but I went for the old fashioned method of buying an e voucher

I had to go that route in the end but unfortunately, EE doesn't simply let you top up online using the voucher code. No, you have to remove the SIM from the iPad, put it back in the phone, text the code.....

Ok up and running now.....topped up with card in shop and then removed the nano sim from iPad and put it holder back into phone and texted code.

Nano sim back in iPad and shows 100gb of data to use...
Great.....now to do the other one

Just on border of London and getting 45 down and 18 up...
Will be smashing the data with FaceTime later

You do, 30 days hasn't even passed since this offer began. You need to wait 30 days after you topped up and texted 100GB and it will refresh for the 2nd month.

Been away from home for work all week, lots of tethering to iPad and laptop, streaming radio and speedtests, wouldn't usually use this much
