Afternoon folks.
Recently managed to change the screen on my daughter's Moto E after she dropped it. Picked up the screen from Amazon for a very reasonable 20 quid, and changed in about an hour - go me!! It now works fine, except for the power button. This doesn't work in-call, but does work for everything else. Also, you can speak into it and be heard, but not hear anything through it at all in a call.
However the external speaker does work - the one that's used for playing music and the like. I have done a full factory reset on the handset, including clearing out the cache through the boot menu, to no avail.
Anyone got any ideas??

I'm no expert by any means but it sounds as though there's a connector that been damaged. Might be a start to open it up again and see if there's any obvious damage.

I did. There wasn't. If there was an issue with a connection, one would assume the fault would be present all the time, which it isn't.
