Lot's of promises made about the end of 2015. Almost halfway through the year now. The sun is shining and the grass is growing but not an awful lot happening on the maps. EE are spraying it everywhere but spraying it so thin it's not really job done. VOD are doing 1 town a month. OK, 1 town every 3 months. O2 are sulking about being bought and 3 seem to have just rolled a joint and are sitting in the op room giggling under a desk.

I assume somewhere, someone is doing something about something.

I agree with you about EE, it often is too thin although it is often still usable, the main problem is the exaggeration of the coverage on the map, it looks very impressive and is compared to the other networks but the maps a joke.

Vo2 aren't doing so badly but I suspect that's caught up in this o2-Three merger. Although Cornerstone's 4g isn't bad where it exists.

I agree with you on Three, it's mostly due to the fact that compared to the other networks they haven't got the money to rollout and they're probably about to inherit o2's network which will need a lot of improvements. They're probably waiting to see what state it's in (crap) and then upgrade it.

EE are about to hit 90%, I think they're at 88% at the moment, which is a significant milestone but the next 8-9% is the hardest of the lot.

Vo2 should hit about 80-85% I think.

Three's complicated by the 800mhz rollout, I seem to recall Jabba saying a long time ago that they're target is for 98% on 800mhz by the end of 2016 with 75% on 1800mhz, pitiful really.

Vodafone 3G is actually good where 4G has been installed, 9Mbps + HSPA+ speeds are good for 3G.

Shame that O2 seem to be lagging behind, despite supposedly following Vodafone's 4G coverage, I can think of at least five locations near me which have had Voda 4G for months with no sign of O2 4G.
