Assuming with June Brown saying she has eyesight problems is Dot away for a while. She was sentenced to 14 months.

I kind of want her to retire. Awful working conditions of this is true. It's not fair form June to learn a script she can't read well due to her poor eyesight and act day in day out. Surely the bbc or her family could do something to help her?

I'll miss dot but I think it's getting to the time where dot needs to go for June's sake.

I would think her scripts are in audio version for her to learn if not they will be soon with her failing sight. I wouldn't miss Dot but I don't see her leaving.

She needs to carry on working:

On the financial implications of leaving EastEnders, she said that the economic crisis has hit her pensions hard.

"You might laugh at that and think 'she'll never be poor when she's old' but I've not squirrelled away lots of money," the 88-year-old explained. "I've had two pensions each that have gone down by 50%."

As for the Manslaughter s/l, Dot would serve maybe 7 out of the 14 months, and if she has already served 3 months on remand, she might be out in 4 months.

You're right. She's been sentenced to 14 months but with good behaviour that will be halved to 7 months and then they'll also take into account the 3 months she's already served on remand. So she should be out in 4 months so around September time.

September could be when Kathy returns, they're likely to have Dot back on the square when she comes back and with summer being Kush Shabnam Stacey Martin, autumn (where EE usually have high drama leading up to Christmas) looks like it'll be Kathy season

They aren't forcing her to keep working. It's her choice.

Because she feels she has too :/

Im dreading the day she leaves for good but I don't think working like she is, is doing her much good with her age and eyesight.
