Tethering
Tethering
Three might offer the most data but it offers the least for tethering, allowing you to use no more than 4GB of your allowance for a personal hotspot. EE, O2 and Vodafone each allow you to use as much of your data allowance as you want, which gives Vodafone the upper hand, as you can get up to 25GB of data each month. EE deserves a shout-out though for allowing pay as you go customers to tether too. |

EE's Data allowances (Various 200GB promotions excepting) are pathetic, especially SIM Only. Their total of 5GB data allowance for £27.99 / month is only 1GB more than the tethering allowance from '3'
O2 and Vodafone are probably fine, provided you live in a City / Town. We don't even have 3G available from either of those networks for nearly 8 miles in either direction!. |

I couldn't agree more! o2/Vodafone 3G coverage is shocking. I once back in 2008 would praise them.. That was until I moved to Orange/T-mobile/3 ... then I knew what I was missing out on..
My o2 friends won't agree with me but one by one when they move over they see what they where missing. |
