Not one act this year that is outstanding

I don't think there is one act this year that is outstanding, the talent had really all been used up!

I guess it depends on what you are looking for. I think that both UDI and Revelation Avenue are great acts, but i agree that there is little else that takes the eye. They could hae saved one or two big acts for this weekend though.

There certainly isn't a standout act like Attraction or Jonathan and Charlotte, but is that really a bad thing? I think this year is even closer than closer than last year and I prefer that to just having it as a one-horse race.

And all has been used up - really? What about Revelation Avenue, Jamie Raven, UDI, Boyband, Entity, Matt Mcreary, Jonathan Lutwyche, Henry Gallagher - I think this is a great year for talent!

Hmm, the problem when it's "wide open" is that you end up with a winner like Jai McDonald - someone people forget once the next series begins 10 months later.

I'd rather have an obvious winner who wins because they are both fantastic and genuinely popular. I.e. the year Spelbound won, I said they were going to win from the moment I saw their first audition. Same with Attraction in 2013.

UDI are the only act who would be worthy winners because they provide "variety" when you consider the prize. There will already be enough famous singers and dancers on the bill so adding another one isn't really required imho.

Not forgetting Vladimir the Trampolinist, Bonetics the Contortionist, Leo the Piano Player (if he gets through; he should do), Billy and Emily the rollerskaters, Wendy the 'talking dog', Lisa the hula hoopist, Jessie the Karate Kid and Cor Glanaethy the Welsh Choir (who'd be fantastic with something uplifting)... if they get the presentation right it could be one of the strongest semi final weeks ever.

And, as said, we haven't seen the final set of acts yet. I do think they should extend the final show to an hour and three quarters so we get to see the same number of acts auditioning before they deliberate.

Dan R mentioned UDI so didn't feel the need to mention them again.
