I love him. He's so sweet. I like him and Shirley together, I think he's good for her. I loved his scenes with Mick tonight, just i wish Mick would could just let go and let Buster and Shirley in again. Shirley has always been straight with Mick about being there for both her sons, she's never gone about it behind his back. She's only sticking by Dean as she feels like she needs to stick by him after not being around all those years and if he had been proven guilty of rape I'm sure she would have blamed herself but would have stood by Mick.

I'm liking Buster now. He has good chemistry with Shirley and he is not always nasty as people on are making him out to be. I think Buster gets a hard time on here. Buster genuinely loves his family. I must be the minority who really like Buster

I must be in the minority as I really enjoy his scenes.

He obviously loves Shirl very deeply and the deep contrast between the way he treats her compared to how the Philth did (like dirt) - is very vivid indeed.

He may be a 'hard case' but he is not without a heart and he also does not bully other people for no reason - unlike a certain beetroot-hued potato.

I really like Buster. I think he is developing well and has a lot of potential. He can be tough, but he also loves his family, he loves Shirley, and does look out for them in his own way. Like others, I like Buster and Shirley together too.

I look forward to hopefully seeing Buster, Shirley and Mick as a family unit, should Karl Howman stay longterm. He, along with Shirley, is much better without Dean and the sooner Dean is out of the picture, the better. I can't wait for Shirley to find out about Dean, I hope it is sooner rather than later. Linda Henry will deliver it right on the nose, I'm sure.

I think there is more to find out about Buster, he obviously has a darker side, and I think there is something going on with his family. I look forward to finding out more about his backstory and his history with Shirley. (though I reckon that Phil and Shirley will be revisited a few years down the line, if Buster leaves, just a feeling, I prefer their current set up as frenemies because they are equal).

Does anyone know how long Karl Howman is staying for? Is Buster a regular or a short term regular? I was hoping we would get an interview with KH.

I hope they don't revisit Phil and Shirley. I'm glad they don't have scenes these days. Phil always make Shirley look pathetic. Shirley and Buster are a great couple and I don't think he's leaving.

It's just a feeling I get, they have kept them involved for years. However I much prefer how they are now. They are frenemies, are more equal and it works a lot better than what has gone before, Shirley isn't Phil's doormat anymore and I am pleased about that, the writing for them wasn't very good during certain periods but when they were written well, I had no problem. It was when Shirley was fawning over Phil, hated it, I felt embarrased for her and it isn't even real !!

I like Shirley and Buster, they spark off each other well. I'd like to find out more about their history and see where they go in future. Buster just keeps getting better, he has a dark side but also a nicer side too, very intrigued by him. I don't know if he is staying or going, initially KH was apparently just filming for a short stint, so I assume they will decide whether to extend his contract or not? I hope he does stay on as a regular.

Great actor.

A relationship with The Carters and some screentime with Vincent Hubbard and Phil Mitchell and I'm easily pleased!

I would just love Buster to be the second character to punch the Philth's lights out this year (after he insulted Shirley for example)!

If nothing else Steve would finally be able to get his teeth into something new instead of endless, boring and preposterous 'owning' scenes.

I really like Buster but I would like to see more of what he is up to away from the rest of the Carters. What does he do for money?
