I feel because of jacks looks everybody felt some pity for him and therefore he is a winner before he even opened his mouth. At the other end Christian is a very handsome young chap and he is condemned before he gets a chance to say anything. Its being said Christian hasnt much personality i think he us quite shy and will come round when there are less people in the house. As for Jacks personality to me it doesnt exist. All he seems to think about is food and getting rid of Jade.

I actually really like him he seems to handle himself well even though things have not been easy for him at the beginning being misunderstood ect.
I don't know why Jade targeted him or why she would choose him as prey, with his looks on the outside, he will have girls throwing themselves at him right, left and centre and so will be more than capable of brushing them off and as expected he handled Jade beautifully, " hey what are you doing"?

I took an interest in him straight away from his VT because he said he was a competitive swimmer. My boy is a top swimmer too (although a bit younger than him) and I know the hours of dedication and hard work involved in the training of a National Standard swimmer. If he's stuck with that up to the age of 20, then there's definitely something about him. He's also studying biomedical sciences at UCL (isn't it?), in which case he's a very intelligent lad - A grades at A level required for that. A lot more to Cristian than a mere pretty boy that's for sure.

I was reading his twitter and he's been competing around the country for the past few months - he also trained for the 2012 Olympics but got injured I think. I don't get how he can be at UCL studying and then train and compete in swimming at the same time -he must be very organized.

If everyone judged him on what they've witnessed rather than what they suspect him to be I reckon he'd be favourite to win. Early doors and I hope he doesn't **** this up, but he might could end up as Big Brother's first genuine male role model. I.e. a guy who you with qualities you would want your son to develop. I know, a bit much but in the words of Marlo from The Wire about Michael "Big paws on a puppy"

And me ............if I was (like you) 40 years younger I'd be fighting you for him

I've posted this before but it's very apt I think.

Well to be fair, most of the top swimmers are at Uni - mostly Bath or Loughborough, as it's a way of combining their training with something worthwhile, i.e. a degree, as you wouldn't really be able to train to that level and hold down a job. However, as I said before it does require a huge amount of effort and dedication, as well as organisation as you mention. Most people recognise that the training regime for swimmers is gruelling, far more than for most other sports - with early morning and afternoon / evening sessions of up to 2 hours at a time in the pool, 6 days a week and gym sessions as well.

Hopefully he'll survive eviction this week. I've just voted for him to receive the reward.

Would be very surprised if he didn't his odds are shortening drastically and don't think many would beat him in a VTE. Real darkhorse

Yeah I agree. His popularity at the moment is at a good stage too. There's a long way to go still so I wouldn't want him to become favourite to win just yet as it's a long race and favourite this early wouldn't boad well for him. As it stands, things are looking good for him!

He's my favourite. I like that he has come out of his shell a bit more since Jack saved him, and he isn't afraid to have his say on matters (during the debating task, or trying to mediate between Kieran and Eileen, for example)

I'm annoyed that he is possibly going to be up for eviction (at least he knows it's only with two nominations, and what they were) but there's not a chance in hell that he will leave.

You say his popularity at the moment is good, which is true if you look at DS and online polls - however, every single BOTS show the panel and audience are way more against than with him. Is that how it usually is, that the BOTS panel and audience are at odds with what DS is saying about HMs? I'm wondering whose side the public will be on - hopefully ours when it comes to Cristian.

Did anyone else notice how Cristian turned his second consecutive nomination into a positive in the diary room on last nights show?

He's been more optimistic than he was in the first week and not getting caught up in all the negativity, and I'm glad he's turned that around and not gone the way of being mopey or bitchy.

haha seriously? His looks are about the only thing I do like about him lol

Its his attitude that stinks... Either he has toned it down since the 1st week or BB are deliberately not showing it anymore, but whatever the reason, they have him coming accross as a far more acceptable person now, so his popularity has soared.

From the little we've seen of him he seems a really nice lad. Certainly not seen any airs & graces or blowing of his own trumpet. Just seems quiet & happy in his own company. I like him.

When did his attitude stink in the first week?

Agree, whilst others complain about noms, he goes onto say "I went from 5 to 2, I've made some friends!".
