Probably yes. However the Jade thing concerns me more
Having said that I think Cristian has bigger issues with the twins and Harriet and even Sarah. Nick might be further down his list

I think it may take a little longer but he's going that way in my opinion.

i'm really not liking Jade at all. She comes over (to me) as incredibly self centred and spiteful. I don't know her family set up but I'll guess she has been bought up to be very spoilt and a little princess.

Yes me too. He told her that Joel loves her as well making sure to save his bath friend from a nomination too
He is very interesting though and I'd love to be able to use the Nasty Nick moniker again in a meaningful way

It occurs to me that Nick is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't
If he didn't back away from Jade a bit people would attack him for being under her thumb
If he did back away from her people would attack him for being a cad and a bounder

He should have the courage of his own convictions and not allow, as I see it anyway, negative boos for Jade to sway his opinion. Now that would actually dissappointment me...as I like him a lot.

He's put himself in this position and he has to take responsibility for his own actions. I don't think he's doing too badly to be honest. He has a great way of talking himself out of difficult situations and I commend him for it

I know that I didn't for a second believe he and Jade fancied each other but beyond that I'm not sure about him.
In that conversation though, it sounded like Nick was implying that Jade had influenced him, which is a cowardly thing to do. He spoke about noms so should take responsibility. Jade did the same at f2f noms laying the blame for choosing Cristian with the girls in the house. Maybe they are more similar than they appear .. like goes to like as the saying goes.

The trouble is that the vid started in the middle of the conversation so we don't know what else was said

True it may have made him question a few things
Think this is being misinterpreted he said he needs to stop always like acting like a lost puppy around her because he knows over time he will start to like her, he never said it was her fault of that he wants to stop being close with her
Like Aaron (BB13) I think Nick is a massive BB fan - I believe he has worked out to the nth degree as to how he's going to play this. I suppose the time bomb think (and him nominating face to face) may have scuppered his plans a bit but I'm sure he's clever/manipulative enough to re think his strategy.
Oddly enough I really don't mind - I'm enjoying watching it - I despised Aaron for the same reason.
