The problem is these polls have been opened before the lines have actually opened. So what if everyone who voted Harry on the polls changes their mind after tonight's show and votes Jade when the lines open?

With threads like "Jade The Liar Exposed" appearing in the forum, I think she's toast.
![]() I'm not giving up hope, but I can't think of anything likely to happen in tonight's or tomorrow night's show that would rile people to vote for anyone else. They'd have to think back days to find a reason to vote for Harry; and everyone who sides with Cristopher will be voting to evict Jade. I'd love to be proven wrong, though. |

Facebook and Twitter are hugely supportive of Jade - it's very rare that a female housemate gets much more support than a male one in a situation like this.
I encourage ALL of you to vote to evict Cristian. The momentum is definitely with him to be evicted. Don't decide not to vote guys! Also, Veri! It's brilliant to see us supporting the same HM for a change!

You know what I promised I wouldn't vote ever again after Helen won last year, but I think I'll have to make an exception...

This sort of thing annoys me: From D Spy's interview with Aielsyne: Quote:
What about Jade? She's had accusations of going from one guy to another. But Jade didn't expect to be chosen as the best looking: she expected the twin (Amy?) to get it and was surprised when she didn't.
"Yeah, I didn't like Jade at first. I thought she was a black widow! But the longer she stays in there, she grows on you and you sort of understand her a little bit better. I think she's quite vain because when she didn't win the prettiest girl contest, she didn't like that, did she? So she's very vain. But she's alright, she's fine." |

Once a framework has been set, it doesn't matter if you agree or disagree with the accusation, because people are just thinking about the accusation in mind as the emphasis and focus shifts away from whoever else is up. All you have to do is set the accusation and keep repeating it. People end up defending the housemate in question without considering for a moment that the question itself is a fiction. But it's in people's consciousnesses anyway, and that's sometimes all that matters. All you can do is be positive and in this case things may be different because apparently Cristian is imploding with Joel as well which may not look good for him. Don't know what they'll want to show for tomorrow's show though. |

I have a feeling that this may go differently to how it usually predictably ends. Because I happen to think a lot of people actually like Jade.
She may get booed by the eviction crowd, I'd expect that. But I think the voters may want her saved. On Twitter they usually always side with the male, but tonight it seemed about 90% were on Jade's side. So, actually, I think the crowd will be more anti-Cristian than anything else! I really hope he goes! |

I think it was just put in people's minds from all the times she called herself beautiful in the diary room - which, let's be honest, didn't do her any favours! People just decided she was vain from that and projected that onto what they thought they saw in that task. Still, bottom line is that Ash likes Jade despite the criticism which is fine by me

I am very confused. I have been away for the last couple of nights and haven't managed to catch up on the 2 episodes yet, I have watched some of the videos online, how come Jade is up, did the time warp housemates discuss nominating Jade, from what I have seen it was only Nikki and Helen that decided it should be Jade. I am in shock, I thought she was safe this week. I hope she is safe. At this point from what I have seen I would rather Cristian go, if he has felt so strongly about Jade all along why did he not speak up before and where did Danny come from with saying Jade has been going after him. I have only seen her near Danny once and that was when he was upset and she was consoling him.

BB told the timewarp housemates to pick a fourth person. Nickki and Helen felt that Jade had been "going from man to man" and said they were worried she might be leading Brian up the garden path (Brian and Jade have got quite close lately!).
Brian disagreed and wanted Sam up. Marc didn't want to nominate Jade but said he'd go with the majority as he had had enough of upsetting people and didn't want to be part of the decision this time. I was quite disappointed with Danny buying into the man-hopping nonsense. He and Jade are both my favourites this year but I guess he's succumbed to the paranoia like everyone else in that house

Helen and Nikki's "man to man" wording was exactly the same as the wording Cristian and Danny have been using for the last couple of days so it seems pretty obvious to me that they had influenced the decision.

I think that, as Brian suggested, it was Jade and Brian getting together which is most likely what brought the issue to a head and put the doubts in people's minds. |

What bothers me about it is that Brian -- and even more Marc -- made only a token effort to get the choice to be someone else. Who knows what Brian's up to? He seems to be trying to tick the same BB boxes he did in bb8. Stand up to an unpleasant HM (Charley, Helen)? Check. Find a romance (Amanda, Jade)? Check. Act a lot less intelligent and clued-in than you are enough of the time to affect viewer perceptions? Check. ![]() But wasn't Marc supposed to have a strategy? If so, it's hard to see how getting Jade evicted fits in. She's one of the HMs who could be an ally, and there's a group in there who will get him out if he doesn't break them up. |

According to a thread on the main forum the odds now have Cristian as favourite to go. It's close I'm sure but what a sense of justice would be felt if it was actually Cristian that went
![]() If Facebook, Twitter and the odds are right could we see a Cristian eviction ![]() I wasn't going to vote as I felt no pleasure in helping to vote out another female but now it seems there's a chance it could be Cristian I'll give it a go

Marc also seems to have been quite demoralized from what the visiting housemates had to say, telling him he was being mean and should try to be a nicer person. I think he had lost his mojo at that point and was just going with the flow. To defend Jade he'd have to character assassinate Sam or some other choice and I think his appetite for such negativity had left him. |

That was the point I made on the previous page. That this particular type of smear campaign nearly always works. It's mud that sticks and it doesn't matter how much truth you post in regards to the details. When it's eviction time people are so emotional and wanting somebody to hate for the eviction that they haven't got time to think about things.
All you can do is be positive and in this case things may be different because apparently Cristian is imploding with Joel as well which may not look good for him. Don't know what they'll want to show for tomorrow's show though. I remember watching the eviction-night highlights last year, in the week when a lot of people hoped Ash would go and Matthew went instead, and thinking Ash wasn't going to go, because there was nothing that would have reminded anyone of why they didn't like him or that would cause any new dislike. Jade's best chance this week was that Harry would go. But Harry's no longer seen doing any of the things that had made people dislike her and want her out. Helen seems to have put a stop to her even going topless. Remember that viewers didn't even get Conor out in bb13 when they had the chance, because there was always someone else who'd been more obviously annoying or unpleasant each week he was up. (It was vote to save then, but there were still chances. Yet when it was 1-on-1 Conor vs Shievonne, he didn't just survive: he has 80.33% of the vote to save!) However, we've also learned that results only happen if people vote for them. One of the reasons Ash didn't go last year was that too many people assumed he would. Hazel was saved one week in bb14 (when it was vote to evict); Ashleigh was saved twice; perhaps Jade can be too. |

I think Brian has just given up on being listened to so all he could do was put his opinion across and hope for the best. The trouble with fighting for Jade was that the whole jist of the nomination was that he was being made a fool of so the others were never going to take any defense of her from him seriously. I think he was also starting to wonder if the accusations were true (hence, apparently, why he was crying in the toilet).

Marc's an intelligent guy. I think he could have made a positive case that Jade deserved to stay more than someone else, without having to be nasty about the someone else. Or he could have argued for reaching a consensus rather than call for a vote and abstain. Heck, if he'd even just agreed with Brian in the vote, the choice might have been someone other than Jade in the end.
