This is a real shame if Jade's in trouble.
She's made the show for me this year, I love her confidence, humour, and yet there's a vulnerability that shows occasionally. I just wish she'd stayed well away from Brian. It's funny, but when people used to say he was putting on a thick act, I couldn't see it. There weren't any ground breaking insights, or bursts of intelligence for me to think otherwise. He just seemed friendly, easy going and of course a BB lover! So I certainly wouldn't have had him down as ruthless, but he IS like a different person this time. He's does seem anxious, (which might be Helen of course) and far more self-conscious and aware of the cameras.

Well I don't have to worry about watching this stupid show again.
And remind me to never look at a poll ever again. |

I'm afraid when she butted heads with Cristian her cards were marked.
All his fans would have had her on speed dial.

The thing is, I looked at Twitter right befeore the eviction and all the tweets were either "evict Cristian!" or Cristian fans saying "evict Harry!" No one seemed to be saying "evict Jade!" so I actually felt optimistic.
But I can't say I was surprised. I think Helen winning last year made me immune from feeling sad about evictions. I just expect the worst possible thing to happen whenever Emma starts speaking. It was down to the "bed-hopping" thing, the worst possible thing a female housemate can be called and right before the lines opened for the first time. Plus a complete hatchet job on BOTS. And to be honest I think Brian is responsible too for not denying to Nikki that Jade "made him cry" (even though we saw it was because of Pete.) Sixteen years and BB is just as sexist as ever. I want Nick or Harry to win but doubt they have a chance with the favouritism shown to Marc. |

We don't know. It seems more likely it was Cristian. |

Nothing we can do about it now guys, she will always be my favourite of this series. I thought she looked fantastic last night and what a smile she has on her, her whole face lights up, typical Irish.

Yes, mine too Polly, Jade did look beautiful last night and I loved her no nonsense approach and straightforwardness! Great girl with some gumption, the only person worth watching for me this year!
Jade is the sort of housemate I like: not loud and in your face, but with a definite, rather quirky, personality that has some depth, rather than all being there on the surface. To me, her evolving relationships with HMs such as Nick and Marc (and earlier, Sarah) were among the things most worth following in bb16, and she seemed to treat BB as an interesting and (when possible) enjoyable experience. She's the sort of HM who'd be good to watch on a live feed, back when we had a proper one. She made some of the classic 'mistakes' female HMs make (such as being flirty with guys), but I'd rather see 'mistakes' than someone playing BB by the numbers. I'll miss her. Nice clip, emptybox.

I am sad to see Jade go even though I have not been watching the show. I have enjoyed reading the forum about her and watching the vids of her. I liked her quirkiness.

If it wasn't this week it would have probably happened next week. As Veri said above she had her failings, but what depresses me is that a housemate's failings are usually seen as moral excuses to get rid of them and paint them as bad people. What's the point in watching housemates who are playing BB by numbers and just phoning it in? I just can't be interested in housemates who keep reeling out the cliches and soundbites that they know the public like to hear from BB housemates. They pretend that they aren't playing a game, but yet accuse others of playing a game, or they're more normal than other housemates' and keep repeating that soundbite just in case we didn't catch it the first time around, or they've got first dibs on 'going for a journey'. These are actually Simon's own choice of words 'going for a journey'. Like you can just decide to change your game and choose your new approach by pulling it out of a hat of a various assortment of BB gameplans or something. The way he said it was as if he knew he'd made a hash of things, then absolutely frustrated and exhausted, with no other options left, thought "You know what, I think I'll just go for a journey".

I love this little vine clip of her 'last words', which illustrates what you say.

I noticed Nick is still wearing her jumper, which is a nice reminder of her time in the house. The show's so miserable now. |

Hi guys, I think I'm done now that Jade has gone. I missed a few days, tried to watch last night but it didn't really do anything for me. Thanks for chatting, it's been good to come on here and not have the nastiness of the main forum.

I've really not been having much luck this year. Sarah was my favourite and I really liked Harriet too. Now Jade has gone. I'm running out of housemates to like

She just called in BOTS when Brian was being interviewed. Rylan of course asked them if they'd go on a date (both said yes but they were hardly likely to say no.)
