Is it just me or does anyone else think it's for eating off ONLY, with plates knives forks etc of course. It's not for parking your germ ridden arse on that who knows where it was sat a few mins before.

As long as it's given a good wipe before meals, I don't see the problem. Didn't the op watch BB7, with the outside table? The were sitting on it, standing on it and lying, sprawled all over it. Not to mention all the bird shit.
