Agreed.
If you could get past all of the tedious clips of the acts and work out who had got in the semi-finals it was fairly apparent that some really good acts have failed to make the cut, and all too many ridiculous acts have got through.
A huge choir?
Prancing middle aged women with not discernible talent?
Too many lookalike dance groups?
Too many child acts, including the weakest and excluding some genuine talent?
Not sure what sort of variety entertainment hat lot will produce.
Potentially, at the moment it looks like this could be the worst year ever.
