Sorry I was talking in general. She definitely shows personality even if I haven't particularly warmed to it as yet.

To be fair, big brother doesn't really bring out the best in people. How would you be if you were deprived of any intellectual stimulation and were in a house with brain dead people like the twins and Jack? Eventually your empathy would subside. Around a smart house, Jade has the wherewithal to flourish.

Jade's strength lies in the fact that she doesn't EXPECT to survive in the house, and she doesn't care! She said she would be out on any week she's nominated, so she's under no illusions. She isn't "manipulative" at all, she just doesn't care what anyone thinks of her. When people are fighting her, she only puts up a token defence and doesn't mutate into a screaming harridan like Harriet and the twins, or a melodramatic actress like Eileen.

I completely agree. I feel Jade has always remained true to herself in there and I love that she is realistic about how far she will go.

thanks for patronising me again.

I think we could have a lot more people up this week than last, there has been a lot of disputes in the house. Still can't see Jack being up though.

Yes it does, but so many people are cynical these days.

I agree , there have been quite a few disagreements between all the housemates so there could be a lot up.

Who will Nick vote for and will jack save anyone.

Don't doubt it does, but in the context of BB..you don't see a lot of it. Or perhaps as Karen has pointed out, I am perhaps a tad cynical.

Oh, I think it's wise to maintain a degree of healthy cynicism while watching BB, but you also have to allow for the odd spot of genuineness to slip through.

why not? she can call herself whatever she wants, nobody has to agree though lol

Says who? She can call herself anything she wants to, moreover I didn't see her state her own opinion as fact, no more than your dislike of her and her physicality is factual either.

There are some objective standards to beauty to do with proportions and symmetry and like it or not Jade conforms to many of those standards and is objectively beautiful, or at the very least attractive. to deny this is disingenuous.

Of course on an individual basis people may not be attracted to her, but that's another kettle of fish.

I would like to just touch on the "jealousy" bit. I hate that people call those who have a differing opinion jealous. That is always the classic go to response. Sorry but it is possible to have differing opinions and not simply be jealous.

If she'd just stopped at referring to herself as beautiful that one be one thing. But she's also done the "I'm a good person" thing too (as well as other variations, a number of times. on both her moral superiority and her looks).

So what. Perhaps the young woman has a healty confidence about herself. I don't see Nick getting lambasted for admitting he's basically an unlikeable toad.
